It was double elimination time again on the Dancing With the Stars results show tonight.

Based on the scores from the past two weeks, it looked pretty good for Melissa Rycroft, and looked grim for Kirstie Alley. But as you know ... you never really know.

With seven popular DWTS: All-Stars remaining, and the scores relatively tight across the board, all bets were off. So which two were cut, and which five advanced?

Kirstie Alley and Gilles Marini!

Yes, Kirstie was eliminated first, and that second one came as a bit of a surprise; Emmitt Smith and Apolo Ohno escaped the hatchet in the closing moments.

Gilles Marini, of course, was considered a strong contender for the Mirror Ball ... but so is everyone else remaining at this stage. Someone had to go.
