Dancing With the Stars Recap: Fantastic Fusion

by at . Comments

Following the shocking elimination of Sabrina Bryan, the Dancing With the Stars survivors did battle on the parquet again on this Monday before Election Day.

Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy
Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani
Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke

Once again, due to the coverage of the election by ABC, there will be no show Tuesday night and thus no elimination. All votes will be added to next Monday's votes.

You guessed it, that means a double elimination next week.

Let's break down the night's performances - the stars did individual "fusion" dances combining to genres, followed by a swing dance marathon featuring all seven pairs at once!

The Week 7 Dancing With the Stars scores (individual dance + marathon = total):

  1. Melissa Rycroft & Tony Dovolani: 10; 9.5; 9.5 = 29 + 10 = 39
  2. Shawn Johnson & Mark Ballas: 10; 10; 10 = 30 + 8 = 38
  3. Kelly Monaco & Val Chmerkovskiy: 9; 9; 9 = 27 + 9 = 36
  4. Emmitt Smith & Cheryl Burke: 8.5; 9.5; 9.5 = 27.5 + 7 = 34.5
  5. Gilles Marini & Peta Muragtroyd: 9.5; 9.5; 9.5 = 28.5 + 5 = 33.5
  6. Apolo Ohno & Karina Smirnoff: 9; 9; 9 = 27 + 6 = 33
  7. Kirstie Alley & Maksim Chmerkovskiy: 8; 8; 8 = 24 + 4 = 28
