Fan Falls From Escalator at MetLife Stadium; In Critical Condition
by Free Britney at .A man was critically injured Sunday after falling from an escalator on his way out of MetLife Stadium following the New York Giants' 27-23 victory over Washington.
New Jersey State Police say the 42-year-old fell over the side of the escalator and dropped nearly 21 feet onto a metal stage at the East Rutherford, N.J. venue.
He was airlifted to Hackensack University Hospital and reported to be in critical condition with severe head injures. An investigation as to how the man fell is ongoing.
