A whole lot of film fans moved in to Hotel Transylvania this weekend.
The animated flick - which features the voices of Adam Sandler and Selena Gomez, among others - earned $43 million in its first three days, according to studio estimates.
The figure blows away the previous record for a September opening, which stood at $35.6 million buy Sweet Home Alabama in 2002.
Looper, another VERY well-reviewed movie, also fared well.
Rick Ross and Young Jeezy got seriously into it at the BET Hip Hop Awards last night, with sources even telling TMZ shots were fired between the parties in the parking lot after the ceremony.

Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill married Martha Patterson in Charlotte, N.C.
His bandmates - brother/singer Caleb, brother/drummer Nathan, and cousin/guitarist Matthew, attended the wedding Saturday, which also saw Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman married.
"Marrying my best friend today," model Patterson wrote. "I'm the luckiest girl in the world."
"Today, I get married. It's the biggest step I've ever taken," Jared tweeted.
Jared Followill is the fourth and final member of the band to get hitched.

The actress and Adam Shulman, her longtime boyfriend, tied the knot Saturday night in scenic Big Sur on the California coast, with more than 100 guests on hand.
The couple, who have been together four years, got engaged last November.
Their wedding weekend started Friday with a rehearsal dinner at the Ventana Inn and Spa. A nearby private estate was secured for Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman's ceremony.
