Kim Kardashian and Kanye West recently went wild with the man behind Girls Gone Wild, vacationing in Mexico with Joe Francis, who just posted a photo of the trio during a break from ziplining.

If that seems random, consider: Francis made his fortunate by videotaping naked girls. And Kardashian... well... we all know how she made herself famous.

Joe Francis, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West

Francis reportedly hosted the getaway, renting a home and putting up Kim, Kanye and other pals.

It's just the latest adventure for the tandem dubbed Kimye. The twosome rode a roller coaster last month and also shared a photo of that ride with friends and followers. See, they're just like every other couple in love out there.

With the exception that they aren't really in love and are just milking an ignorant public for publicity, that is.

Lowell Turpin confronted his girlfriend, allegedly with violence, over an alleged affair he felt she was having with a handsome man on Facebook.

The man Crystal Gray befriended - and whose photo was on her page - was actually presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

Suspicious that his live-in girlfriend was having an affair, the Tennessee man spotted the photo of an unknown guy and quickly became irate.

Lowell Turpin Mug Shot

A flustered Turpin, 40, “angrily demanded to know who the male was,” reported Anderson County (Tenn.) Sheriff’s Department investigators.

Gray, 38, “replied that it was a picture of Mitt Romney.”

Despite being informed that the man on Gray’s wall is the GOP candidate for President, and has 2,904,374 other friends, Turpin was not placated.

Gray said that her boyfriend “became upset because she was attempting to communicate with friends through her Facebook account.”

In a subsequent tussle over the laptop, Gray’s hand was injured as she unsuccessfully tried to stop Turpin form smashing the computer.

Gray told deputies that Turpin, pictured in the above mug shot, also punched her in the face during the encounter, which he denies.

In any case, he's in jail, and Romney sure is handsome.

Carli Richards, a 22-year old who was shot in the back by James Holmes during his alleged rampage in Aurora, Colorado on July 20, wants to see the murder suspect given the death penalty.

In the most painful way possible.

"I think death by firing squad would be totally justified," Richards tells TMZ, showing that site her body's bullet holes. "Just injecting him is painless."

Holmes is facing 24 counts of first-degree murder and prosecutors have said they will seek the death penalty if he's convicted, as long as surviving victims or families of those killed are in support of that punishment.

"I had enough needles in me that night to know that a needle isn't that bad. I want him to see what it feels like," Richards says of her hospital experience and her feelings on Holmes, adding:

"I wish someone would shoot him and let him bleed out… He shot me with stuff they use to shoot birds and deer. I want him to feel what it's like to feel that helpless."

You can't blame Michael Phelps' mom Debbie for thinking he had this one.

The best swimmer ever held a half body-length lead in the final 15 meters of Tuesday's 200-meter butterfly, a race he hadn't lost in a major competition since 2001, when he obliterated the world record he still holds.

Even down to the final milliseconds, Phelps appeared to have the edge over South Africa's Chad le Clos, but the latter timed his "touch" of the wall perfectly to stun Michael - and Debbie, who momentarily celebrated.

Watch her reaction as she learns her boy won silver, not gold ...

Everyone watching at the London Aquatic Center and at home on TV did pretty much the same thing, of course, just without TV cameras on us.

Supportive parent that she is, Debbie Phelps clapped for Michael's silver anyway, despite her shock and disappointment. It was a nice moment.

One he somewhat made up for later in the day as well.

Despite being a bit off his otherworldly pace from 2008, Phelps broke the all-time Olympic medal record by helping the U.S. score another relay victory.

Forget Carmen Sandiego. The real question these days is: Where in the world is Robert Pattinson?

Us Weekly, the tabloid which broke the story of Kristen Stewart cheating on the actor with Rupert Sanders, claims to have the unexpected answer: hiding out at Reese Witherspoon's vacation home.

Robert Pattinson Walks Out

Witherspoon (who knows something about being cheated on herself, thanks to Ryan Phillippe) and Pattinson co-starred in Water for Elephants and sources say she offered Rob her ranch in Ojai, California.

These same insiders have shot down a couple of other new rumors:

A U-Haul truck was NOT spotted outside the home Pattinson shares with Stewart and Pattinson never retreated to London to party with friends.

He's been in the U.S. this entire time, but friends say he's a "total mess" and is "questioning everything." While Stewart continues to call and text - "dying to save the relationship" according to those in the know - Pattinson truly "doesn't know what to do."

He'll have to decide quickly, unfortunately: promotion for Breaking Dawn Part 2 has already begun and he's expected to make media rounds in the fall.

Allison Schmitt of the United States continued the women's swim team dominance, setting an Olympic record Tuesday in the 200-meter freestyle event.

Schmitt handily took home the gold medal in the process, joining Dana Vollmer and Missy Franklin to form a trifecta of American winners of individual gold.

The training partner of Michael Phelps finished the race in 1:53.61, more than a second better than the mark set by Italy's Federica Pellegrini in 2008.

Schmitt

Members of Schmitt's family, who are in London, watched as she secured her first gold medal. And after watching her win, her uncle George Schmitt said he noticed one thing immediately as Allison exited the pool.

"She had a great big smile - typical Allison," he said.

Known for her bubbly, funny nature, Schmitt shared a joke with Phelps before the final on Tuesday and she was still laughing afterwards.

"I just tried to keep focused and keep calm," she told reporters, when asked about her strategy. "Mike and I were joking before the race but he said as soon as you get on the blocks it's time to start focusing."

Allison now has a gold, silver and bronze in London. way to go!
