Hmmm... Erin Andrews or Khloe Kardashian? We may need a few minutes to weigh this decision.

NOT!

A few weeks after word spread that Andrews, a new Fox correspondent, was interested in hosting Season 2 of this singing competition, Khloe Kardashian has come out and reiterated her interest in the gig.

Khloe Kardashian Odom

"I'm a big fan of The X Factor," Khloé told E! News at some random Beverly Hills launch party yesterday. "I've always wanted to do hosting or talk show hosting, so it's definitely something that I would love to do and would be honored to do."

Has Kardashian actually met with producers? She wouldn't say. But she did gush over the head producer, Simon Cowell.

"I think he's amazing. I love personalities like that because I'm someone who is very straightforward and I tell it like it is. That's what he's doing. He just doesn't want to blow smoke up people's asses."

Will kissing up pay off for the reality star? She's reportedly up against other hosting contenders such as Mario Lopez, Kelly Osbourne and Stacy Keibler. Do you want to see Khloe as The X Factor host?

Adding her name to the growing U.S. roster of swimming gold medalists at the London Olympics, Rebecca Soni absolutely dominated the 200-meter breaststroke last night, shattering her own world record to boot.

To call it an impressive swim would be an understatement.

Rebecca Soni Photo

Rebecca Soni ruled every heat she swam in the 200 breaststroke in London, setting a short-lived world record in her semifinal Wednesday night.

She topped that by winning gold - and lowering her world record from 2:20.00 to an amazing 2:19.59 - Thursday at the London Aquatics Centre.

"I'm so happy," said the New Jersey native. "I didn't focus on medals or records or whatever. I just wanted to swim my race the way I knew I could."

"It's been my goal since I was a kid to go under 2:20. That's what my coach (in high school) told me: 'You're going to be the first woman to go under 2:20.'"

"To break it again tonight, it's just unreal," she said. "I guess it's been four years in the works, training really hard every day. I couldn't be happier."

Check out the video of Soni's record-setting effort after the jump:

Floyd Mayweather has been released from prison, and just in time, too: the poor guy was totally wasting away in there!

The boxer served two months of a 90-day sentence for domestic battery and walked out of Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas yesterday. He hugged various friends and family members - including 50 Cent - on the way to his car, but did not say anything to the media.

Floyd Mayweather vs. Miguel Cotto

Mayweather was jailed on June 1 after pleading guilty to an incident in September 2010 where he got physical with Josie Harris, the mother of his three children.

It's unclear, boxing-wise, what the future now holds for the undefeated champion.

Fans are clamoring for a Mayweather versus Manny Pacquiao bout, yet there's little reason to believe this will happen any time soon. If ever. Mayweather has spoken of retirement and he did make $85 million in fight earnings last year - but when your nickname is "Money," you can never have enough.

We'll see him back in the ring soon.

Sad as their recent parting of ways is, Adrienne Maloof and her husband, Dr. Paul Nassif, are determined not to go through an ugly, public divorce.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member and her plastic surgeon husband, who called it quits earlier this week, have three young sons.

While Adrienne wants full custody of their kids, she is genuinely sad, not bitter at Paul, and isn't planning to get nasty with her estranged spouse.

“Adrienne has so much class, she isn’t going to be trash talking Paul or airing out any of their dirty laundry,” a source close to the reality star said.

“She doesn’t want things to get ugly; she just wants a clean break.”

She may get it; Adrienne and Paul have an ironclad prenuptial agreement that no doubt safeguards her vast fortune in any divorce settlement.

Adrienne and Paul have been married for more than nine years and have starred on the hit Bravo reality show for the past three seasons.

She reportedly skipped the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion taping this week because the news of her divorce was too fresh and painful.

"I'm so sorry that this is happening but my children are my life and sometimes we need to do what's best for them," she said earlier this week.

Katy Perry is pretty in pink and purple on the cover of Elle’s September issue.

The 27-year-old, who recently split from husband Russell Brand and started dating John Mayer (probably not all that seriously we're guessing, at least not yet), discusses the possibility of getting married again someday.

If it does happen, John or whomever else, you're gonna have to work for it.

“I obviously have a lot to say right now… I’m a woman who likes to be courted – strongly," she said. "Never say never ... I’ll let love take the lead on that.”

As for her career, she's adaptable to change: “I love what I do, and when I don’t love what I do, I’ll make a change. I can’t be the candy queen forever.”

On being a role model for girls, she says: “I have no regrets."

"I’m not going to be everything to everyone. I can’t tell a person when it’s time for them to have sex. Or if they should have a cigarette. But I try to live my life with a lot of integrity, and, hopefully, that sends a message.”

We'd say she's on the right track. More Katy Perry pics below:

This is simply adorable.

In honor of her sister Ali's 23rd birthday, one especially nice and caring young woman presented her sibling with the surprise of a lifetime: tickets to a Justin Bieber concert in Dallas this October.

Moreover, she sang Ali a song and recorded a video of the pair to submit to Ellen DeGeneres in hopes that the talk show host would see it and be moved enough to gift the sisters with backstage passes to meet Ali's idol.

And we have a feeling this move might work. How come? A certain Twitter user with 25 million followers posted the video and included a message himself to Ellen: @theellenshow i think you should check these people out. u know people who know people...

American teenager Gabby Douglas has been wowing the world with grace, style, and of course, the women's all-around gymnastics gold medal.

Nevertheless, much of the chatter on social media and online platforms has been about the upkeep of her hair, and not all feedback is positive.

Douglas, one of the few African-American gymnasts ever to compete in the Olympics and the first to win all-around gold, is an inspiring story.

Time and Sports Illustrated have her on their covers. President Barack Obama called to congratulate her. So why do people care about Gabby Douglas' hair?!

Gabby Douglas Hair

“I love how she’s doing her thing and winning,’’ says 22-year-old Latisha Jenkins of Detroit told The Daily Beast. “But I just hate the way her hair looks."

"With all those pins and gel ... I wish someone could have helped her make it look better since she’s being seen all over the world."

"She representing for black women everywhere.’’

According to reports, the 4'11" Douglas appears to have chemically relaxed natural hair, to which she adds a human-hair ponytail for height.

The Olympic champ then apparently slicks it all back with a heavy layer of gel to help it stay in place during her high-energy performances.

Hair has always been something of a hot button issue for African-American women culturally, but in the case of Douglas, isn't the criticism a little much?

Douglas’ accomplishments speak for themselves ... for the conversation to turn to a teenager’s physical appearance and upkeep seems a bit unfair.

Do you like her hair? Does it matter? Tell us what you think.

Courtney Stodden is 17 and husband Doug Hutchison is 52. Clearly, these two are in need of couples therapy.

Instead, they have signed up for Couples Therapy.

Doug Hutchison and Courtney Stodden Picture

TMZ confirms that the attention-starved duo will appear on the new season of this VH1 reality show, as the two have supposedly admitted there are "obvious problems in their relationship because of their age difference and the notoriety they've gotten because of their relationship."

Translation: we couldn't get our own reality show.

Courtney and Doug will join four other pairings - including Alex McCord and Simon Van Kempen - on a series that pretends to provide actual advice for the suffering couples featuring on it. Filming on the new season is already underway.

Will you tune in? Or, better question: How much would you pay to never have to tune in?

Fans at a minor league baseball game in Florida saw the rarest of ejections Wednesday: the home team's DJ got tossed for playing "Three Blind Mice"!

In Daytona's contest against Fort Myers on August 1, the home plate umpire whipped around and abruptly angrily ejected the "music guy" on the spot.

The ejection was captured on video, too. Watch it below:

The DJ, Derek Dye, was guilty of playing a non-lyrical rendition of "Three Blind Mice." The umpire demanded no music or PA announcements from then on.

As the announcers reveled in the bizarre awesomeness of Dye's ejection, the Daytona faithful booed the bitter ump and rallied behind their Cubbies.

Dayton won a squeaker, 2-1. Cubs win, music or not!

Having just seen Oprah Winfrey's natural hair on the cover of O, we've now been treated to another photo of it, courtesy of her Twitter feed.

Oprah is also wearing no makeup in the pic, a rare sight.

"Me and all my 'girls' in the makeup trailer," the fresh-faced 58-year-old wrote while displaying seven of her wigs on the set of The Butler.

Here's Winfrey prepping to shoot her upcoming movie:

Oprah, No Makeup

The Butler will mark Oprah's return to the big screen for the first time as a character other than herself since 1998's landmark Beloved.

O will play Gloria Gaines in the film, based on a White House butler who served eight U.S. presidents over the course of three decades.

What do you think of Oprah's natural, no-makeup look?
