As Kim Kardashian made very clear over the weekend, she's afraid that her butt sometimes looks fat.

So the reality star did the only sensible thing a woman known mostly for her penchant for nudity she could do yesterday: she avoided that body part altogether in her latest Twit pic, wishing followers a "nighty night" by sending them a photo of her cleavage.

And we wonder why she has 16 million followers...

Kardashian has been up to even less than usual this summer, forced to remain in the news via such attention-grabbing stunts as this and sending out a never-ending stream of bikini photos.

She also sullied the name of Diana Ross forever in our minds. Thanks a lot for that, Kim.

Lindsay Lohan is a wanted woman ... in TWO criminal investigations.

In addition to being a jewelry theft suspect following a house party heist a week ago Sunday, police want to talk with LiLo to determine if she committed a crime by lying to officials in the aftermath of her June car accident.

You can't make this stuff up.

Santa Monica police detectives have been trying to get in touch with Lindsay to ask her about ramming an 18-wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway. 

The hardest working woman in Hollywood, LiLo's lawyer Shawn Holley, told police they should not call the star directly because she has an attorney.

Always a positive sign when you refer questions about your actions to your legal representative on a routine basis. That's Lindsay Lohan for you.

Police believe the 26-year-old actress likely lied about not being the driver, but a mere passenger in the wreck, and may refer the case to prosecutors.

Lohan is also a chief LAPD suspect in a theft of watches and sunglasses worth as much as $100,000 from the Hollywood Hills home of Sam Magid.

Holley reportedly shut detectives down, saying there was no way would she cooperate in that case after Magid apparently recanted his allegation.

Sylvester Stallone's half-sister, Toni-Ann Filiti, died Sunday night at age 48 after an extended fight with lung cancer, according to multiple news reports.

It's been a summer filled with tragedy for The Expendables 2 star, whose son Sage Stallone also passed away at 36 of yet-to-be determined causes.

Filiti entered UCLA's ICU August 10, where doctors had "done everything" they could. Prior to her hospitalization, she had been living with her mom.

Filiti's son and Stallone's nephew, Edd Filiti, had accused the actor, on Facebook, of neglecting Sage Stallone in recent years. He recanted that claim.

Filiti was married twice and had a son, Edd, with second husband Louis D'Alto, an actor who appeared in several Stallone vehicles. They split in 2001.

Our thoughts go out to Stallone and his family.

Clothing chain Urban Outfitters is promoting a provocative new line of t-shirts with pro-drinking slogans - ones some parents are predictably not fans of.

One version modeled by a young woman, who appears to be a teenager (below), is emblazoned with blurred letters reading, "I Drink You're Cute." Get it?!

Others include "I Vote For Vodka" and "USA Drinking Team."

Harmless? Maybe, but not everyone things so. A recent survey reported that one out of five teens drinks, uses drugs, or smokes DURING school hours.

For parents already rattled about kids and substance abuse, it's a jolt to discover items like these when fall clothes shopping with one's teen or 'tween.

The majority of customers at Urban Outfitters are between 18-24; the second largest demographic is under 18, which some groups find more alarming.

"Kids absolutely shouldn't be wearing these t-shirts," Jan Withers, the National President of MADD (Mother's Against Drunk Driving), tells Yahoo! Shine.

She says MADD does not oppose legal drinking or marketing to adults, but "Marketing [alcohol-related products] to teens is not in any way acceptable."

UO is under no obligation to pull the shirts - they are protected under laws that allow the promotion of branded merchandise, according to the FTC - though public pressure could certainly make them rethink the campaign.

Late last week, Evan Rachel Wood got in a bit of trouble for joking that Miley Cyrus was gay.

But the singer herself then went out and made a few onlookers curious at The Darby in New York City, where the 19-year old partied it up with friends and even exchanged a few lip locks… with members of the same sex!

"“She was trying to get everyone’s attention,” a witness told The New York Post of Miley's girl-to-girl kisses.

But Cyrus eventually changed venues and met up with fiancé Liam Hemsworth at 1Oak, where she and the actor sat at a table with owner Scott Sartiano.

All in all, it was a relatively harmless and fun evening for the star, especially considering the controversy her mouth has gotten her into during past nights out.

The mother of Jeffrey T. Johnson harbors no ill will toward the NYPD. She understands why her son - who shot an ex-colleague last week before being gunned down by multiple police officers - was killed on the streets of New York City.

But that doesn't mean she understands what drove Johnson to commit such a heinous act outside the Empire State Building on August 24.

“I don’t blame police in New York for shooting my son because he killed somebody, but for me, he hasn’t changed," Ms. Johnson tells The New York Times in a new interview. "He’s still the kindhearted, caring person who loved all kinds of animals and I’m sure he loved us. You know a mother always tries to look for the best in you.”

For privacy's sake, Ms. Johnson asked for her first name to be withheld, but she did give readers a bit of insight into her child.

He moved from Japan to Georgia when he was an infant. He was nearly killed in a car accident when he was 11. His longtime cat recently died in his arms, a development that left Johnson's life "diminished tenfold" according to a letter he wrote his mother.

He joined the Coast Guard after dropping out of college and was married for four years before a divorce about three decades ago.

Oprah Winfrey may have retired her namesake talk show, and her OWN TV network may be struggling by her standards, but she's still peerless.

The daytime legend topped Forbes' list of the highest-paid celebrities for the fourth year in a row, earning $165 million from May 2011-May 2012.

Guess appearing on Keeping Up With the Kardashians wasn't career suicide. Coming in at #2 on the Forbes list is someone you might not expect.

The magazine listed Michael Bay in second with $160 million during that period, largely on the strength of Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

After his twofer of War Horse and Tintin, Steven Spielberg took the third spot with $130 million in revenue, much of which came from residuals.

Mega-producer Jerry Bruckheimer netted $115 million, courtesy of more than $1 billion in sales from Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

With his new remake of The Lone Ranger starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer coming down the pipeline, expect him to stay on this list.

Rounding out the top five earners was rapper / producer Dr. Dre, who raked in $110 million, much of it from his Beats by Dr. Dre headphones.

Other celebs making the top 10: Tyler Perry, Howard Stern and Simon Cowell. Britney Spears, at #20, was the second-highest earning woman.

Penn State University is doing all it can to separate itself from the Jerry Sandusky scandal, which has sent that pedophile to jail, resulted in unprecedented sanctions against the football team and led to new uniforms for the players.

How will the fans feel the effects of this sordid situation?

Penn State announced this week that it has outlawed the playing of Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" at home football games, a single used as a traditional sing-a-long on campus for many years.

Track lyrics, as heard below, include the line "touching me, touching you," and... well... we don't need to explain why some might see that as inappropriate now, do we?

If you thought the people on this program weren't the sharpest tools in the shed before, the Spelling Bee last night confirmed that and then some.

Also confirmed Monday night? Certain people have no self-respect and others get far too emotional about a show based around voting people off.

Did Chris Bukowski live to fight another day? Did Blakeley Jones cry about it? Who got the heave-ho? Find out in THG's Bachelor Pad recap!

From now on, they will compete as couples, meaning Rachel had to get over Michael's elimination and pair up with Nick ... who's still on the show? Plus 10.

Soon it's time for the spelling bee, in which each duo had to spell their designated word by alternating letters. Can get kind of confusing at times, so Plus 5.

Minus 390 for some of the words these people missed, though, and for the manner in which they did so, omitting entire syllables and such. Almost scary.

It came down to Ed and Jaclyn vs. Sarah and Chris, and after an eternity of botched efforts, the latter pair won this war of attrition and the roses. Plus 20.

Blakeley cried that Chris will not be sent home. It was awesome. Plus 10.

There's been a lot of talk recently about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart and their much-publicized breakup.

Seriously, A LOT of talk.

But on October 2, approximately six weeks before Breaking Dawn Part 2 hits theaters, fans will have a chance to remember this pair as a loving couple: on that date, Entertainment Weekly releases "Twilight: The Complete Journey," a tell-all that goes behind the scenes of the entire Saga.

The book promises to reveal intimate details about what the official description summarizes as "five-year journey." It will include frank interviews set visit stories, trivia, book and movie guides and dozens of photographs.

Of course, for many, memories of the franchise may be tainted now that Pattinson and Stewart are no longer an item.

Might that change any time soon? Kristen sure hopes so. She is reportedly near a meltdown.
