YES! Both Franklin and Phelps took home even more Gold, leaving competitors far behind and leaving an even more indelible mark on these Games.

Franklin actually set a world record in the 200 meter backstroke, touching the wall in 2 minutes 4.06 seconds, a full second ahead ofRussia's Anastasia Zueva. The winning medal is Franklin's third Gold and fourth overall.

And she's only 17, people!

Phelps, meanwhile, already the most decorated athlete in Olympic history, increased his haul with a come-from-behind win in the 100 meter butterfly. The ridiculous star now possesses 17 Gold medals and 21 in all.

Missy Franklin is an amazing swimmer and young woman that more girls her age should look up to. She is determined and focused while still having fun and just being a kid. I love that she’s independent and that her spirit combined with her positive outlook on life drive her to succeed. Here in Colorado she is all the rage and we are all rooting for her. The real challenge has been trying to keep up with what sport is on which channel. Luckily, I upgraded to the Hopper a few months ago on the suggestion of a Dish co-worker. This new DVR comes with three tuners and 2,000 hours of space! That’s four times more than your average DVR and I won’t run out of space when I’m recording all these events. Missy is just stealing hearts left and right with her charm and the smile that lights up the room. She is truly talented and I’m happy that she’s doing so well. Thumbs up to Missy for dedicating all her medals to her home state and we can’t wait for her to come back and celebrate!
