Matt Bomer is great for Fifty Shades of Grey. He has the look, the intensity and the sensitivity to play Christian Grey. Who cares what his sexual orientation is? Have you seen Neil Patrick Harris as a sex maniac in "How I Met Your Mother"? I did not even know he was gay until I looked him up.
Matt has the best look and personality for the character. All the the other actors I looked up don't even come close to the look or feel of Matt Bomer. Alexis Bledel would be a great match for him.
Actors should be selected on talent. Don't worry about moviegoers. Everyone wants to see this movie regardless, so stop advertising his sexual orientation. However, if the casting director picks weak actors, then us avid readers who have our expectations built up cannot guarantee revenue at the box office. I would rather sit home and relive the book than watch a low quality movie with average actors. Thanks for listening.
