Jennifer Aniston is engaged!!!

A rep for fiance Justin Theroux confirmed the incredible news to People this afternoon, telling the magazine:

"Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage."

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have been dating for more than a year, going public with their relationship in May of 2011.

The couple has been the subject of endless speculation, with one rag saying the former Friends star recently rejected the writer/director's proposal.

Amazing, we know. A tabloid got a Jennifer Aniston story wrong.

Ironically, there had been chatter that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie would get married this weekend. But, for once, Aniston stole her ex's spotlight.

We wish this happy couple nothing but the best!

    Remember you can't be absolutely sure happily ever after can be until death do you part. I have a cousin who went through many relationships, before meeting his wife. They married and stayed happy for almost 40 years. Then she died. The happily ever after was for her, not him. I'm happily married, but ever after will end eventually for one of us.
