She had hair?!!! I spent all my much attention focusing on her performance, her poise, her joy, determination and my pride to root as an American. I won't comment on the women complaining about Gabby's hair except to say they are the same ones who complain about black men dating other nationalities and races. Well it may have to do with being tired of dealing with trifling petty people with nothing better to do than tear down people.

This is the most ridiculous bullshit I have ever seen about hair- just goes to show how ignorant and asleep many of the women in the so called black community she's representing the USA not BLACK WOMEN smh- and regardless if her relaxer is recent or not SWEAT will make it wavy or curl up- this isn't a gotdam hair show it's the GLOBAL OLYMPICS for all that is holy---smmfh

I think Gabby didn't retouch her hair because maybe she dind't have time. It all depends. A relaxer only takes about 45min to a hour to put in, however if she already had a sew in she would need to have that one taken down (1 hour) and relaxer put in (1 hour) and another sew in installed (3hours to all day, depending on the beautician). So, maybe it was her intentions on having her relaxer done, but she ran out of time or had a beautician cancel on her at the last minute or maybe she intended on getting it done in London, but couldn't. I don't know. I'm just throwing out some scenarios. Women of every race have things that they take pride in and for black women its our hair. Its not weird, its just one of those things. Anyways, hope that helps clear up some things and congrats to Gabby!
