Elton John & Madonna are 2 very different beasts. Elton's musically gifted & Madonna's true talent was in marketing & publicizing herself. While Madonna's achieved an inordinate amount of success she's being forced to make way for today's stars. Her comments about/behavior towards Lady Gaga are cringe-worthy - saying far more about her than Gaga. Publicity points are up for grabs once you realize that more flies are drawn with honey than vinegar. It's hard to believe that comportment classes would be required to keep Madonna from behaving like a sour-grapes, ageing star. The things that make you go hmmmmm...........

Madonna is just plain GROSS. She is done, over cooked and rotting/ smelling up our world. Go away, we don't like you!!!

Meh, between Elton and the hag, I would always go Elton, sad thing is he did not speak further from the truth, Madonna is disgusting in a sense that she would pull any stun for public attention, and what she doesn't get is everyone hate her more and more due to her crazy crave of attention, learn to be a respected a eff-ing old lady that you are, and not some trash in the bin that stink so hard to grab attention to be chuck out

There is no nicer way to say it..., Elton had real talent. Madonna had a real talented twat.

Madonna has always sucked... But what is up with all these celebrities choosing other random celebrities to be their children's "god parents"... Don't these celebrities have family members??? Or are they afraid that they are "better" than their non famous relatives and afraid they may wack them since money is involved... Anyway, strange.
