Who is the Highest Paid Actor in Hollywood?

In the news for his divorce from Katie Holmes, the thespian has been named by Forbes as the highest paid actor of the past year. Between May 2011 and May 2012, he made an incredible $75 million.
And because Holmes signed a prenup, Cruise will keep almost all of it!
Cruise can mostly thank Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol for the major take home, as it has grossed $700 million worldwide, enabling the star to easily outdistance Leonardo DiCaprio and Adam Sandler in these rankings.
Last month, Kristen Stewart was named the best paid actress in Hollywood.
Here is a look at the top five actors, salary-wise, in the industry from May 2011 through May 2012:
- Tom Cruise: $75 million
- Leonardo DiCaprio: $38 million
- Adam Sandler: $37 million
- Dwayne Johnson: $36 million
- Ben Stiller: $33 million

Those actors earn that much for learning lines, and Obama only earns $400,000 per year, for destroying the country, not counting, $100,000 for travel, and $150,000, tax free, expense account.
Gosh! Here's some "1%-ers"....Barack should be rubbing his hands in anticipation of their tax dollars if he can get in another term and hike taxes to sky! Wonder how long they'll be kow-towing to the POTUS then?
