Sean Lowe on Bachelorette Exit: No Regrets, Nothing But Love For Emily

Sean Lowe says he was absolutely crushed by his elimination on The Bachelorette Monday night, and was totally planning to propose to Emily Maynard.

In one of the most heartbreaking eliminations in show history, Emily gave Jef Holm and Arie Luyendyk Jr. roses and said goodbye to a devastated Sean.

"I'm not sure what to say," a teary Sean told her. "I feel kind of stupid. Only because I knew with certainty that I was ready to spend forever with you."

"I just didn't see this coming... obviously. I think you should know it's going to hurt me," he added as Emily Maynard broke down in tears, once again. 

"I'm going to miss you more than you know. I care about you, ultimately, and if this is the best for you, than you have to do what's best for you." 

The decision was clearly tough on her as well.

"I want you to know, I wanted it to be you, so bad. So, so bad ... I'm really going to miss you and I have loved every minute I've had with you."

Now that the shock of his elimination is over and he's spent some time away from the cameras, Sean Lowe admits he wouldn't "change a thing." 

"Wow! Thanks so much to everyone who sent love my way," the 28-year-old Tweeted. "Emily is such an amazing girl and I wouldn't change a thing."

"I am so very blessed." 

The question is ... did Emily make the right call letting him go?

    As a mom with a single daughter, living in Dallas, I would love to introduce him to my 28 yr. old daughter, who has the same genuine values. I can't believe Emily did not choose him but that means God meant him for my daughter! Sean was the nicest, most genuine guy ever on the show! Can't see him doing the Bachelor but he might not need that if he could meet my daughter...she's confident, set in her career and very ready for love and a family like you Sean!

    At first I thought Emily made a big mistake but I loved sean's family great sense of humor it didn't seem like Emily had one and I hope sean finds a woman who will treat him well, and God will protect their marriage. I think Jef is too immature and I don't think arie and his family will have good communication. It just gets to me when they all say oh I'm scared, well who isn't but that is what life is, it's a choice and if you have God then you don't have the spirit of fear.

    Sean will be great to see back as the new Bachlore! What a genuin, faithful,sweet,handsome guy! Go Sean, you were the best on the show by far! You deserve the best! Hope you find some one that is as good as you are!

    Sean: What a MAN!!! Hopefully he will be the next Bachelor: the ratings would go sky high just for the chance to watch him. He is genuine, sweet, faithful and good.And...What a MAN!
