Lauer would throw his own family under the bus to advance his career.

I am very disappointed in Matt and don't really like him anymore. He is getting old now so hopefully they will replace him soon.

I no longer watch the "TODAY" show ever since Matt Lauer couldn't live on 17 million a year! People don't even make $17/hr. or 17,000/yr!! He needs another scolding from Tom Cruz. What a joke he is. They should have gotten rid of him instead of Ann. I will miss her kind face. The show is boring. I watch Good Morning America. Ann should go their!! I hope the rating drop even further.

How sad that NBC has stopped looking for quality in their staff, and joined "fluff" TV..no longer watching

Ann Curry had more range, more "smarts," more elan, than the job called for. Fact of the matter is that most of the viewers of the Today show prefer someone more like what they have now got and NBC feeds into this with superficial, boring, activities they pile into the daily routine. All in all, the viewing public has the depth of a ping pong ball. Matt laughs all the way to the bank! Some of you may recall Bryan Gumbel and his impatience with having to play the clown on some of the Today show stuff. Could be why he departed. I think Ann will be grateful she left at some point and will find something that better fits her extraordinary talent and abilities.
