Robert Pattinson weighed in on the Fifty Shades of Grey phenomenon today at Comic-Con ... with an obvious reference to the erotic novel's sexiness.

When questioned during the Breaking Dawn: Part 2 panel, he and Kristen Stewart were mum on whether or not they've read the sex-filled bestseller.

If presented with a copy, however, he knows just what he would do.

"I would just sit there and lick the pages," Pattinson said in San Diego, adding, "What are we live on?" realizing his response would gain attention.

Stewart on the other hand, was less upbeat about the topic.

When asked if she reads the novel in a book club with Pattinson and fellow Twilight star Taylor Lautner, she said simply, "That would be disgusting."

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been mentioned as possible leads in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, however unlikely that may seem.

Tom Cruise's attorney, Bert Fields, demands that the National Enquirer and its parent company, American Media, retract its new cover story about the actor's just-settled divorce from Katie Holmes or face a defamation complaint of epic proportions.

Among other tawdry allegations, the magazine claims Cruise's home was akin to a "house of horrors" and that his estranged wife, Holmes, lived a "tortured life" in a marriage that was a "living nightmare" in virtual lockdown for years.

Taking the Questions

Fields absolutely went OFF on what he said was a "disgraceful and lurid cover with bogus, red and yellow headlines announcing one cruel lie after another about Mr. Cruise and his family" and went on to take them apart one by one:

"Contrary to your headlines, Mr. Cruise has not engaged in any 'abuse' or 'humiliation' of Katie Holmes," he wrote. "Nor has he ever subjected her to any punishments."

"It is also completely untrue that Mr. Cruise ever subjected his wife to relentless verbal abuse, emotional punishment, humiliation and intimidation."

"These are all egregious lies. He did none of these things."

American Idol judge Steven Tyler is leaving his seat at the table. The news comes just hours after Jennifer Lopez announced her plans to leave Idol on The Today Show.

With Tyler leaving and Lopez threatening to do the same, the judges table looks mighty bare.

Tyler says the decision was made in order to focus on his band Aerosmith. "The next two years are dedicated to kicking some serious ass," the singer said in a statement. And he means business, as Aerosmith has a new album and tour all lined up.

So who take over Tyler's spot? Adam Lambert is rumored as a possible replacement.

Other possible American Idol season 12 judges include Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, and Nicki Minaj.

50 years ago today, The Rolling Stones hit the stage at The Marquee Club in London, England. It was their very first show, and they were billed as "The Rollin' Stones." 50 years, a ton of drugs, and one 'G' later, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, and Charlie Watts are still making music.

Jagger closed out the last season of SNL with an amazing tribute to Kristen Wiig, Richards recently wrote an award-winning autobiography, and the band is rehearsing in preparation for a possible world tour.

The Rolling Stones Anniversary Photo

Jagger and Richards are almost 70 years old, and the band has been around for as long as Axl Rose has been alive. Rose is as washed up as whale skeleton, but somehow the Stones are still kickin' it.

What do you think? Are the Stones too old to be rocking? Should they hang up their instruments? Or do they still make their tight pants look good?

Should the Rolling Stones Call it Quits?

Dominic Monaghan is speaking out against Swamp People, and on behalf of animals everywhere.

The former Lost star, who labeled Matthew Fox a frequent woman beater in May, posted on Twitter a short while ago that the History Channel should put an end to its popular series ASAP.

Dominic Monaghan Press Conference Photo

Labeling the program as "death entertainment," Monaghan said Swamp People "continues to demonize reptiles as monsters and animals that are okay to torture and kill."

He added that "if alligator populations need to be controlled, I understand. But the act should not be glorified on TV" and concludes by pointing his finger squarely at the History Channel: "I blame the network, not the people."

What do YOU think? Should Swamp People get the axe?

Rihanna is a girl who makes no apologies for anything, least of all her recent collaboration with Chris Brown, who she calls "dirty" in the best possible way.

In a the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar (see the Rihanna Harper's Bazaar cover here), she discusses teaming up with her ex on her song “Birthday Cake.”

“I thought it would be cute to do it with a guy. I wondered, who can be dirty, someone who people will really believe?” she says of Chris' tag-team effort.

She adds that she wanted a guy "who could be shocking."

Rihanna and Chris Brown in simpler, pre-felony assault times.

Even though she and Brown split up after he beat her badly in 2009, the two have made peace since; rumors that they're dating again are commonplace.

There was also the Chris Brown-Drake fight over her, but that's another story. As far as the song goes, Rih stands by it, saying it's all about the music.

“Music is music and my fans have been asking me to record with him,” she said, though many fans objected. “I just felt like it was time. It was time.”

“Look, I understand that people had every right to be concerned about it,” she explains. “But I didn’t see it that way because I’m in a different place.”

She proudly points out that the song hit #2 on the charts even though it wasn’t sold on iTunes, and says she wouldn't rule out future collaborations.

What do you think of Rihanna and Chris collaborating?

Should they get back together as a couple?

In bizarre news out of Southern Michigan, Linda Chase told authorities that she watched NASCAR with her dead companion, Charles Zigler, for MONTHS.

All the while cashing his benefit checks.

Yeah, she'll be going to prison for a LONG time, though she insists she kept the "NASCAR corpse" around for only a few months, not a year as police allege.

nascar cars

Jackson, Mich., police last week found the remains of Charles Zigler in a chair in the living room. Officials believe the 67-year-old died in December ... 2010.

Chase, 72, says it was only a few months ago, however, and that she had no role in his death. Zeigler "just fell asleep," she says. Makes perfect sense then.

Linda says she kept the body clean and dressed and talked to it while watching NASCAR on TV. "I didn't want to be alone," she explained. Obviously.

"I'm probably going to prison," she told her local newspaper, apparently resigned to her fate. "But I told [police] the truth. I didn't lie about anything."

Whatever helps you sleep at night.

It's the tiniest sliver of a silver lining, but it looks like the tragedy that will most likely take the life of Usher's stepson will also lead to a custody settlement between the singer and ex-wife Tameka Raymond.

As previously reported, 11-year old Kyle Glover - Tameka's child from a previous relationship - has been declared brain dead following a tragic jet skiing accident in Atlanta last week.

Usher and Tameka Raymond

In response, Usher has been spending a lot of time over the past few days by Tameka's side - and TMZ sources say the sides have softened in what has been a contentious back-and-forth regarding custody of the two children they had as a couple.

Usher met with his attorneys this week and advised them to give Tameka "a majority" of custody, insiders claim, while the artist is also now willing to "significantly" up his child support offer.

No comment yet from lawyers on either side, but the settlement is labeled as "reasonable" by those in the know, as Usher feels terrible for all his ex is going through at the moment and reportedly has no interest in dragging out their fight any longer.

Kate Upton boozing at a baseball game might not seem like a big deal, but she's only 20, so it's kind of illegal. And not at all surprising or newsworthy.

But this is modeling's It Girl, of course, so it's news. Also, it took place in Tigers ace hurler Justin Verlander's luxury suite, with TV cameras watching!

That would be her rumored boyfriend, Justin Verlander. Regarding the beer, and the alleged BF ... Kate's rep wouldn't seriously comment on either.

Kate Upton Lips

The rep told TMZ that underage Kate was not drinking beer, and was only there to see a game with a friend. The rep would not say what Kate was drinking.

A rep for the Tigers said that "all patrons who appear to be under 30 years old are ID'd," so presumably Kate was ... though that certainly looks like a beer.

As for Kate being in Verlander's box, and the rumors that they're dating, the rep had no comment whatsoever, making this story pretty much pointless. Oh well.

Sadly, there was no Kate Upton Dougie video at this sporting event either. Just some fully-clothed, non-scandalous Kate Upton pics. Maybe next time.

Aside from the use of a non-FDA approved, dangerous diet supplement, Kim Kardashian is totally all natural.

And the reality star showed off her makeup-free, photoshop-less body last night in a brand new Twitter photo, one of her in a bikini that was accompanied by the caption:

"Sunrise summertime shoot! #nofilter #nophotoshop"

Kim Kardashian Bikini Image

Of course, Kim Kardashian bikini photos are nothing new.

Neither is the trend of giving fans a look at one's makeup free body or face. Among other celebrities to follow this course recently:
