I think he shouldn't have been so offended by the Justin Timberlake comparison. Justin Timberlake is a successful and talented artist. While I do think the whole "Harry Styles might want to sleep with your mom, so you better watch out" was inappropriate and the host should have known that the insinuation would probably not bring about a positive response from Justin, hanging up still seemed a little bratty. If it were me, I would have told him it was inappropriate if I felt it was, while still trying to be respectful, and changing the subject. Clearly the host didn't mean to offend Justin, but Justin interpreted it as offensive. I don't think either side is 100% in the right here because of that.
