I would only go see it if it is rated R. Not every movie has to be for a young audience. Make sure it is casted with people the right ages.

I say make it an HBO series ... stretch it out! There is SO much to the story that be stretched over a few seasons. Please do not try to make this book into a PG or PG13 movie ... why bother.

Dont fit the movie for teens and the unmature audience. This books was so good because of the content, and the other books that follow to. If you change this story it won't be the same and you will fail in the theaters. I for one will not watch the movie unless they stick to the book. Then who knows I would watch it again and again if they stick to the book. This was not made for all ages.

Why is no one stating the obvious...Andrew Garfield is PERFECT for Christian. Right physical description, right mix of vunerability, strength and sex appeal...right age...most of the guys being touted for this role are WAY too old, or don't have the depth to convey the character in the way he was written. My Spidey-sense tells me Andrew Garfield is the one...if he'd consider it. It's a very risky role/career move. Here's hoping!

If you want to read a really great sex scene I can recommend a novel called Going Going Dead by Steven Goss. It's a pretty good story too!
