Emily Maynard: Reportedly Engaged To...

by at . Comments

No, Emily Maynard does not get rejected on this Sunday's Bachelorette finale. Not according to the expert on all things related to this ABC competition.

In his latest blog entry, Reality Steve says he knows exactly what goes down on the concluding episode and exactly what Maynard's status now is with her chosen suitor. Read on and consider yourself spoiler warned...

“Emily and Jef left Curacao an engaged couple," the report states, referring to popular contestant Jef Holm, of course.

The insider goes on to say that nothing especially shocking will go down on Sunday.

"This live finale is not going to be her making her decision between both guys, or, they leave us hanging in Curacao with Jef proposing and Emily saying she needs more time to think about it. Nothing like that. They got engaged in Curacao, and despite whatever garbage you read elsewhere, they are still engaged today.”

So there you have it. Yes, Reality Steve confirms, Emily and Arie made contact a few times after the show stopped filming, but there's no major scandal here and no changing the alleged bottom line:

Emily Maynard and Jef Holm are a happily engaged couple. Does this make you a happy Bachelorette fan?

I am glad she picked Jef. He's down to earth and seems like a good stable father figure for Ricki and you can tell they have something special. She seems to have a lot of sexual chemistry with Arie, but you can't mistake that for love.

Wow, I'm disappointed! Jef is a big bore, and there was way more passion with Arie. The religion difference will be a big issue between them. Hopefully they will find happiness, but I don't have too much hope. Another wasted season. Maybe Sean will be the next Bachelor...

Dey're gonna divorce DAH!!! Auuuurg

So then all of these rumors about her and Chris Harrison, like him leaving his wife for Emily, are false?

@Mary jo - Jef is no longer a practicing mormon from what I've read. They've shown him drinking alcohol several times on the show. His parents and family are, but he is not...though I'm sure being raised mormon has influenced the person he has become.

I never heard a conversation between Emily and Jef regarding their faith. I wonder if Emily has studied up a little bit about the Mormon Faith? Changing whatever "faith" she has to Mormonism is a big step and just wonder what all she knows about it. An Emily admirer in Washington State.

Only one's that won't be happy she is engaged to Jef Holm is the Sean Lowe fan girls wasting their time for a miracle Emily would realize she made a mistake, reject both Arie and Jef and asks Sean back and he would propose! LOL Please she would bored out of skull sooner or later! Sean has the looks but dang was he flat.

I'm glad she picked Jef. Sean was boring. Hopefully they don't make him the next Bachelor; that would be THE MOST BORING SEASON EVER, listening to him yell in his preacher voice about stupid things.

Diane, you are right, except I do not think Sean was right for Emily. I think he was a tad boring for her. She just didn't light up with him like she did Arie or Jef. Arie had the passion and Sean had the "good on paper" characteristics; Jef was in the middle and the one who Emily thought about the most. She picked Jef because thats who she liked the best. People seem to forget she is doing the picking, not them! I don't mean this against you; you seem to realize this!
