Chick-fil-A: Banned from Boston!

by at . Comments

Boston residents will not be eating more chicken any time soon. At least not from Chick-fil-A.

Following that company's President coming out and admitting he's against gay marriage, Boston Mayor Mayor Thomas Menino has halted plans for Chick-fil-A to open in his city and said in a statement:

“Chick-fil-A doesn’t belong in Boston. You can’t have a business in the city of Boston that discriminates against the population. We’re an open city, we’re a city that’s at the forefront of inclusion. That’s the Freedom Trail. That’s where it all started right here. And we’re not going to have a company, Chick-fil-A or whatever the hell the name is, on our Freedom Trail.”

Chick-fil-A Restaurant

Actor Ed Helms first brought attention to Chick-fil-A's practices in a Tweet. Since then, other stars and organizations, such as Jim Henson Company, have also cut ties with the restaurant chain.

Romney isn't going to change the present gay rights, but isn't going to advocate more States vote in same-sex marriage that's for sure! Obama did divide the black clergy on this latter call. His "evolution" hit a developmental snag for sure! On top of that he's got the Catholics and the Jews rattled. His sure bet religious special interest group this go around may well have to be the Muslims. And I don't think they can vote him in on their own in 2012!

Chick fil a has its own discriminatory practices--there are none in Las Vegas. And they won't Come here because we're such a sinful city. Good for Boston. But so many people live CFA I'm sure they'll be fine, including gay people who admittedly eat there. The place has a following

Mayor Thomas Menion, is wrong for not wanting a Chick-Fil-A in Boston. The owner of Chick-Fil-A has a right to his opinion. I have many Gay friends and we all have our own opinions. What is this world coming to when we areall forced to think alike. He never said he hate gay people he said he didn't believe in marriage. Mayor I don't agree with you not allowing Chick-fil-A in Boston because you have the power does it make your decision right? We can all agree to disgree and still love each other.

Well Well Well, I bet other companies could be against gay marriage also but aren't saying. You know why you know this company is? because they are closed on sundays and you can sure bet people like that are against gay marriage. I say if you are gay and it bothers you they care if you are married or not DON'T EAT THERE!!!

Romney has never said he wants to do away with gay rights! No one I know wants to do away with any rights that gays have at this time and what would be the purpose. Gay marriage is not a right but in a hand full of states and that is a debate that will never be agreed upon. Just because Obama spoke in favor is nothing more that a vote chasing ploy. He realizes he can never make a legal decision so he talks. What he doesn't understand is that he has alienated many black clergy and that will make a difference.

Maybe you should have paid some attention to your Bible thumpin family. You sound angry and stupid. Sometimes people get so caught up in there education that they get above their raising. Shame on you.

They force sky fairy "religion" on you and act like you're devil-possessed if you're not a "believer." hahahaha. Look how many GAY GAY GAY pastors and priests and pedophiles "the holy church" protects. It's OUR FREEDOM TO SAY WE DON'T BELIEVE YOUR CRAP, and people can marry whoever they love!!! Go Chicago!!

Wow, that's outrageous. The mayor is the one who is discriminating not Chick-Fil-A. Absolutely outrageous. I sense a lawsuit coming on and rightfully so.
