Britney Spears Walks Off X Factor Set Again as Drag Queen Covers "(You Drive Me) Crazy"

For Britney Spears, listening to a drag queen try out for The X Factor by singing a cover of one of her hit "(You Drive Me) Crazy" hit a little close to home.

During Monday's auditions in Greensboro, N.C., Spears stormed off the set after the man, dressed partially as a woman, rocked through her 1999 single.

Spears, 30, reportedly "looked stunned" throughout the performance.

Fellow judge L.A. Reid patted her on the back, while Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell could not muster anything beyond covering their faces with their hands.

Reid and Lovato followed Britney off the set, while Cowell stayed behind. "I don't think she quite understood your tribute," he told the bedazzled singer.

"I had to fight real hard to get here," the tearful singer said, noting that he was on welfare and nearly missed X Factor's call because he can't pay his phone bill.

Fortunately, Britney returned shortly thereafter to acknowledge him.

"I really respect the tribute," Spears said when she regained her composure and sat back down at the judges' table minutes later. "It was really nice."

It's been quite an emotional summer for the first-year judge. She previously met a gay contestant she once worked with, and walked off set once before.

I agree with Britney. She was only being honest and I'm sure other people disagree with this but Britney was only doing her job and had to tell the truth and she was right he drag queen was totally off key especially singing her song. Obviously she's the judge of her own song and either you have to sound like her or be on key in order for her to approve and that's nothing that the drag queen had. Sorry but I 100% agree with Britney.

This young woman has had a horrible few years and everything in her life has been photographed and documented for the public to sneer and comment on. I'm surprised she even leaves the house. Of course she is fragile. I bet Cowell is absolutely loving every second. If it were a set up, then I am certain it was an idea she just went along with for the sake of ratings. I wish she could just get some peace of mind and be able to live her life with some kind of normality.

I don't remember any previous judges ever walking off stage during an audition. Because of the two bimbo's that are on there now, I don't even watch the show anymore! And with their recent actions, I was correct on my choice of boycotting. Simon...get on with it and stop with all of these 'talent' (?) shows!! It's getting really old! Be more creative, and stop hiring back woods bimbos!!

I think its fair to say that this woman whatever is going to be doing a lot of walk ofs on this show. Simon and the powers that be knew what they were doing when they broght her on. It wasnt for her judging it was for her weird behavior and dramatics. She is unstable and they knew it, they are using her for ratings. Its going to be sad to look at. I hope that she surprises me and everyone else by doing a good job. Let the users including Cowell fall flat on faces when she is competent
