I'm amazed at what a Prez is allowed to do under the guise of an "Executive Order". Talk about blatant power-grabbing! Don't we still have a Congressional branch? And weren't they working on a Bill regarding all this? Another 4 yrs. of the 'Bama Man and you might find yourselves overwhelmed at not only the power grab but the shredding of the U.S. Constitution we may be forced to witness. W.- Wed. I hope brings good "convo".
@Kenny you'll do well to do what others have suggested here. Research, listen carefully to the issues and the candidates views. Take a long look down the road with regard to the effects their ideas would have in shaping the future of this nation. Sometimes the presumably easy route isn't always the best one. Obama has given to rich corporate cats...they've blown our hard earned tax dollars, the green corporate CEO's might as well gathered around Obama's Oval Office commode and ceremoniously flushed our tax dollars down the crapper! Warren Buffet got Obama to say 'no' to the pipeline so his Burlington Northern Railroad line will benefit shipping that oil from Canada AND at a great expense that the pipeline would have, too. Sorros' companies also stands to benefit from some of Obama's policies. He's got his certain cluster of rich boys he panders to for their campaign dollars, so don't think he's any better than Bush. It's Chicago thug politics on a national scale with Barack!
Wow! Just got on...been doing deep cleaning. And I sure hope by Nov. the voters will be doin' the same at the voting booth as well! Ha! Wyatt, hey dear, buddy...you've done well to promote the debate here for the conservative argument. Donna kudos to you! You've gotten to the crux on the matter. Ernest--you're so right regarding the "stick-to-the-wall" concept. Now 'Bama Man's throwing a "bone" to the for the illegals benefit to garner the Hispanic vote. He's the man of a million promises...and none does he keep. Been there, done that almost 4 yrs. ago. And yes, Romney is NOT promising the moon to snag votes! Good point. I can trust a man like that. Any other kind of candidate comes off like a sleezy "snake oil" salesman to me!
I understand that people brought here as children dont know any country but ours. If they have served in the military im not sure why they would be deported anyway. If they have been educated they need to go back and help their own country, not stay here and take our jobs. Our money should not support them. I dont know how Obama is allowed to make decisions like this! What happened to passing in thru the normal venues? How can he just announce this with no vote?
@ Kenny- Politicians lie! It's what they do. Election year- they will throw anything against the wall to see what sticks. Obama leaves no stone unturned. There is no limit to which he will go to collect a vote. Romney? I haven't heard him make one promise as of yet. so- he hasn't lied as of yet. We all have our wish list but in reality what you hope is only for a few things. Give me an opportunity to make a decent wage. Give me an opportunity to build a future and once that's done- then the best the Government can do for me is get the HELL out of my way. I don't give a shit about Gays right to marry. I want to know about my Social Security I've paid for years. Amnesty to illegals- Don't give a damn but I do give a damn about the 50% of college educated AMERICANS who can't get a job with their Degree. What we want vs. what we need? We need a person in office that knows how to make a BUCK! Not one with his hand in my pocket.
