Lindsay Lohan famously posed as Elizabeth Taylor in Interview magazine in 2006. Now she's all dressed up and ready to take on the role of a lifetime ... on Lifetime.

TMZ, which obtained the first of photo of LiLo in full wardrobe, reveals that she's already gotten her hair and cut and dyed to look just like Taylor's classic 'do.

The photo below is all Lindsay - no wig - and the resemblance is uncanny:

In addition to physical similarities, sources say LiLo's troubled history, and ability to match Taylor's vulnerability and beauty, helped win her the role in the Lifetime film.

Shooting on the movie, called Liz & Dick and chronicling her turbulent marriage, starts this week with Grant Bowler from True Blood co-starring as Richard Burton.

According to the producer, Larry Thompson, there'll be many a steamy scene between the couple, whose 18-year age difference mirrors that of Liz and Dick.

The monologue by Russell Brand may have been unfunny. And the trophy winners - from Twilight to The Hunger Games - may have been a bit predictable, but the 2012 MTV Movie Awards were a hit for at least one reason:

The red carpet fashion.

From actors to actresses, movie stars to television beautiful, the entry into The Gibson Amphitheatre was simply scorching, and not simply due to the California sun! Two perfect cases in point:

Oscar-winner Charlize Theron and Vampire Diaries witch Kat Graham. Compare their looks now and vote on your favorite:

Kristen Stewart. Who knew she had it in her?!?

At last night's MTV Movie Awards, the Twilight Saga star won Best Kiss along with co-star and real-life boyfriend Robert Pattinson.

It was the latter's third consecutive time taking home this trophy, only in this case Pattinson and Stewart did not make out, nor did Rob kiss Taylor Lautner, because he was not in attendance.

So, what was a lonely Stewart to do on stage? Actually be funny! She called out for Chris Hemsworth as a make-out partner... then Charlize Theron... and finally Lautner ("Taylor, old friend. Help an old friend. Come on!"). When no one showed up, Kristen was forced to rely on her own lips. Watch the video now and see what we mean:

At the 2012 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday evening, host Russell Brand kicked off the event with a zany monologue in which he mocked Justin Bieber, Charlie Sheen, Kim Kardashian, Michael Fassbender's penis, Katy Perry and himself.

After giving Bieber props for his alleged scuffle with a photographer, Brand said, "Justin Bieber is so pretty that even if he was attacking me, I'd do a little orgasm."

It only got zanier from there.

"The last time I hosted I did marry someone who was there, so I'm keeping my eyes open for a new wife tonight," Brand said, before shouting, "Fassbender!"

That would be Michael Fassbender, who was there to represent Prometheus.

Brand also goofed on Charlie Sheen, who was there for reasons unknown, saying he'd stashed alcohol and some cocaine under the actor's seat. You know, just in case.

Perhaps most amusingly, Brand thanked Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for taking the pressure off of him - in terms of short-lived marriages and humiliating MTV award moments, respectively - and said he hopes they make a sex tape together.

Hopefully Kanye learns from his predecessor and stays sober during it, though, because Ray J "just looked a little too pleased with himself" while nailing KK.

Brand would also shot out "Twilight!" and "Hunger Games!" intermittently and for no apparent reason. What do you think of Russell's monologue? Grade it below:

Johnny Depp is no longer one of the coolest men alive.

He is officially THE coolest man alive. At the MTV Movie Awards last night, he was not only handed the Generation Award, but joined The Black Keys live onstage for special performances of “Gold on the Ceiling” and “Lonely Boy.”

You may now add rock star to his resume:

The often-animated Depp maintained a straight face through the song, letting singer Dan Auerbach and guitarist Patrick Carney soak up the spotlight.

It was an awesome moment ... so much so that host Russell Brand had to take a break from making penis jokes to acknowledge it. Not a small feat.

Depp is far from a novice, however. A fairly accomplished musician, he's collaborated with everyone from Oasis to Alice Cooper over the past 25 years.

Still, this ranks up there with the Dark Shadows star's top moments, we're guessing. Certainly for fans, his cool quotient was never been higher.

This week's episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, "Uncivil Union," had nothing to do with the upcoming gay wedding and everything to do with the family drama between friends and siblings ... what else is new.

We break down all the crass comments and wardrobe disasters in THG's +/- recap!

Caroline's brother Jaime is getting married to his partner Rich at their place in Chicago which looks like a cross between a Swiss chalet and a miniature golf course.

I can't say I've ever seen anything like it but Plus 20 to the happy couple. Too bad the rest of their family and friends can't follow their example.

All Eyes on the Wedding

The dress code for the big day consists of floral prints and pastels and an emphasis on hats for the ladies. Plus 10 because who hasn't wanted an excuse to wear one of those ridiculous looking English hats.

Considering what some of the rest of the ladies were wearing this episode, the silly hats weren't looking so bad.

Take Teresa who hangs out at home in a tube top, hot pink Daisy Dukes, and those strange leather string boots. And Minus 7 for letting the baby toddle around in those four inch heels. I was just waiting for her to topple over and the crying to begin.

Then we had Kim D. hanging out in her string bikini. Minus 12. Between the fake boobs and the sun damaged skin I wanted to beg her to put on a shirt.

Olivia Culpo is Miss USA 2012.

The 20-year-old Miss Rhode Island won the 61st annual pageant Sunday and will go on to represent the United States in the Miss Universe pageant later this year.

She topped a field of 51 contestants on Sunday to take the title at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip to take the coveted title.

First runner-up was Miss Maryland Nana Meriwether, while second runner-up was Miss Ohio Audrey Bolte. Congratulations go out to all three lovely ladies.

There can be only one winner, though, and it was the beautiful brunette , a student at Boston University who donned a stunning purple Grecian-style gown.

Throughout the night, Culpo discussed her love of music - she played the cello for 13 years and was an avid band camper - and for quoting celebrities.

Culpo's best moment was when she explained why it would be fair if a transgender woman - like Canada's controversial Jenna Talackova - won the title:

"I do think that would be fair, but I could understand how people could be apprehensive to take that road," she said. But, "there are so many people who have a need to change for a happier life. I do accept that because I believe it's a free country."

Well said, Olivia Culpo. Well said.

The 2012 MTV Movie Awards were handed out last night, and to the surprise of no one, The Hunger Games and Breaking Dawn dominated the festivities.

Robsten won for Best Kiss (for the fourth consecutive year), while Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson took home best female and male performance.

Since Kristen Stewart's real-life BF wasn't there to mark the occasion, she staged an impromptu make-out session with ... herself. Awkwardly awesome.

Fans of the vampire franchise were only slightly less elated later on when Breaking Dawn: Part 1 snagged the coveted golden popcorn for Best Movie.

Meanwhile, the great Johnny Depp strapped on his guitar after accepting the Generation Award and joined The Black Keys onstage for an epic rock session

In the night's most emotional moment, Christian Bale paid tribute to Heath Ledger, showing a clip from The Dark Knight, for which he won a posthumous Oscar.

Director Christopher Nolan then introduced a sneak peek of The Dark Knight Rises.

Other notable awards include Emma Stone's first-ever Trailblazer Award and Jennifer Aniston's Dirtbag Award for her sex-crazed role in Horrible Bosses.
