Creflo Dollar, the Megachurch pastor and televangelist who has faced criticism over the years for his flamboyant lifestyle, was arrested today after allegedly injuring his 15-year old daughter in a fight.

Authorities from the Fayette County Sheriff's department responded to a call of domestic violence at approximately 1 a.m., according to investigator Brent Rowan, who added that the religious man and his daughter were arguing over whether the latter could go to a party when Dollar "got physical" with her, resulting in "superficial injuries" on the teenager.

Dollar - faces misdemeanor counts of simple battery and cruelty to children - left jail this morning on bail and said in a statement:

"As a father I love my children and I always have their best interest at heart at all times, and I would never use my hand to ever cause bodily harm to my children. The facts in this case will be handled privately to further protect my children. My family thanks you for your prayers and continued support."

Timothy Poe has come clean. Sort of.

The America's Got Talent contestant who claimed during his Monday night audition that he suffered brain damage as the result of an explosion in Afghanistan - and originally stood by the story in the face of mounting criticism - now admits he had his facts wrong.

"It may not have happened exactly like I said it did," Poe told The New York Post. “I really do not remember a lot of things since the accident."

Poe, an engaged father of two, still says a "blast" went off near his head (and provided the newspaper with documents to prove it) during combat, but admits he boasted about medals he never earned and submitted a photo of another soldier that he attempted to pass off as himself.

Another lie? Or misremembering, as Poe would like us to believe? That he never sang until he left the Middle East.

“I was in a band,” Poe now says. “But it was before the accident. And at the time of AGT, when the judges asked, before I could even think about answering, my words had already came out.”

Friends say Poe is suicidal and members of his family have been threatened. America's Got Talent viewers will see him during Las Vegas auditions next week and to them, as well as all citizens, he has the following to say:

“I would like to take the time to tell the the American people how truly sorry I am that they had to endure the incomplete facts. I understand how they feel.”

The always controversial Chris Brown is once again at the center of a Twitter beef, though the R&B star claims he had nothing to do with this one.

Someone apparently hacked his account and threatened ... Cher.

Brown's camp insisted his Twitter was hacked earlier in the week and Breezy personally wants to defuse any tension with Cher, to whom he wrote:

"I have the utmost respect for u as an artist @cher! just to clear this up!"

Brown, who performed on Today Friday, added: "@cher if this is your real twitter I would like to say that some of ur fans are spreading false accusations!"

Brown's account was allegedly compromised this week when a sneaky poseur sent Cher a combative tweet slamming her political opinions.

The hacked Tweet from "Chris Brown" read:

"That damn GRANNY bitch CHER needs to keep her mouth SHUTTTT about her opinion against obama !!! smh she needs a beating."

Sounds about right, but probably not him. The faux Chris didn't say what Cher's opinion was, but it's hard to believe she's against Obama.

Cher re-tweeted a question from one of her followers that asked about the threat, saying, "I Don't know? Is that something he's particularly Good at?"

Well played, Cher. And Chris Brown, for actually using the site to clear the air and patch things up for once, instead of calling out "haters."

Kris Humphries may be dating a woman who looks like Kim Kardashian, but he's doing all he can to avoid the mistakes of his past marriage.

In other words: Humphries wants Myla Sinanaj to shut the heck up. Especially when it comes to talking about the couple's relationship.

TMZ sources say the basketball player's lawyer has reached out to Myla - a hotel employee who started meeting all of Kris' needs back in January, if you know what we mean! - and is attempting to get her to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

How come?

Because Humphries still wants millions from Kim Kardashian, alleging she defrauded him into believing their marriage was real... and it could be difficult to argue the man is suffering from a broken heart when he's breaking himself off a piece of Sinanaj two months after splitting from his wife.

Lindsay Lohan was involved a bad car accident on the Pacific Coast Highway and is in the emergency room at an L.A. hospital, according to reports.

She collided hard with an 18-wheeler and her car is totaled.

The star, who has been filming her new movie Liz & Dick, saw her passenger window was shattered and the rear bumper torn off her car.

Lohan did not go to the hospital by ambulance, sources say, although an ambulance was called to the scene and she went there afterward.

No word on her condition, although she should come out of this fine, according to TMZ. Doctors are performing tests on the 25-year-old.

Fingers crossed for Lindsay Lohan. Poor girl. More details to follow ...

UPDATE: Lohan's assistant was in the passenger seat and was also taken to the hospital. Lindsay was driving. Both Lindsay and her assistant (the passenger) were bleeding and bruised, and the assistant was in an ambulance.

Lindsay and her assistant were both conscious after the accident.

UPDATE #2: Lohan's rep says Lindsay was brought in to Santa Monica UCLA hospital as a precaution and was released in under two hours.

She is so determined to prove she's no longer an unreliable slacker, apparently, that she went straight from the hospital to the Liz & Dick set.

Lindsay has several visible injuries on her body - bruises, cuts and scratches - but asked to cover them with makeup so she could keep shooting.

She's a trooper.

The 26-year old singer joined Jimmy Fallon and The Roots last night, reproducing the single’s bouncy beat in a very elementary (school) manner: via classroom instruments such as a bongo, xylophone, melodica, tone block and a triangle. It's fun stuff.

Have we mentioned recently how much we adore Robert Pattinson?

The actor stopped by George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight yesterday and was his usual funny, humble, self-deprecating self, opening up about Cosmopolis; his (failed) attempt at the Cannes Film Festival to not sound like a "douchebag;" and his recent fight with Adele.

Wait... what?!?

"I had this argument with Adele, which is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever said," Pattinson tells the host in the video below. "[I told her] you know, you can just really reach for it!! And she was like, ‘You do realize, I'm, like, the biggest-selling female artist ever.' And for some reason, I decided to get into an argument with her about it...

Chris Brown hit New York with full force (insert Chris Rock punch line here) this morning, kicking off the Today show summer concert series on NBC.

The passionate, oft-maligned singer enchanted fans as he performed hits as well as a new song, "Don't Wake Me Up," from his new album, Fortune.

"I love you, Team Breezy!" Chris shouted several times, definitely feeling the love from the New York crowd. Take a look at his rousing effort here:

Breezy them proceeded to belt out the songs to the fans (most of whom appeared to be girls under 20, somewhat scarily) that filled Rockefeller Plaza.

With fan favorites like "Yeah 3X," "Forever"' and "Turn Up The Music," there was no shortage of energy on the scene and fortunately, no one was injured.

That we know of. Team Breezy responded by screaming at the top of their lungs and yelling out the lyrics, so there may be some hearing damage.

Horse racing fans will not have another Triple Crown this year.

I'll Have Another, the winner of The Kentucky Derby and The Preakness and a 4-5 favorite to take home the Belmont Stakes tomorrow and become the sport's first Triple Crown champion since 1977, has dropped out of the latter race due to a leg injury.

"It's not tragic, but it's a huge disappointment," trainer Doug O'Neill said on The Dan Patrick Show.

He later confirmed at a press conference that I'll Have Another developed tendonitis in its left front leg and is officially retired. The animal will now be put out to stud, make his owner millions of dollars, sire a colt and continue the cycle of animal abuse that comprises professional horse racing.
