Guys, someone still needs to pay for it. If everyone paid equal taxes towards universal healthcare, fine. It still costs money. 2 choices: Find insurance, or agree to pay the taxes Either way, people need to contribute. Would you be able to work without compensation?
Something needs to be done.Ive worked at my job ten years and medical ins offerred to management team only.unfair.
We have free healthcare in Canada.I believe other countries have universal care. Its terrific but it can take 2wk to see doctor!
Nothing is "free". How can people expect doctors, who've spent 20+ years total in school, to provide a "free" service? Now, I know some places over charge people and that's not right, and drug companies are the worst offenders, but still, all that research, testing, the chemistry and education involved......that should be "free"? Somehow, the services need to be paid for. I pay my insurance plus a co-pay for services. I'm still paying bills from before I had insurance, slowly but surely. I'm sorry but it costs money to care for patients and someone needs to foot the bill. Part of the reason it costs so much now is because people get care and then NEVER PAY. People who abuse the ER for their stuffy nose, clogging it up and NEVER PAY. Stuff's not free people.
