She may actually believe her brakes failed if they just replaced the brakes. After that is done you have to pump the brakes repeatedly to refill the brake lines with fluid or the pedal will just go to the floor because brake fluid spills out while the brakes are off. This could be a mechanics fault. But someone has insurance on this chick's life (probably lots of people) or they wouldn't put her in such fast cars til she calms down.
