I think she did the right thing for herself, those kids and also for those involved families.
One could not accept such light written apologies for such strong bullies. All I can see is, those kids and their families need to start from learning how to make a apology.
I really think it is sad what happened. But after reading some comments it was truly interesting. Kristyn: She did not win the money.... Pink: If you are a teacher I hope you do not teach spelling/grammer.. and Prissy, my car needs a paint job also. Maybe she should set up a fund to help others or donate it. It is sad that this happens, but it does and because it is not caught on video it could never be proven. I read a statement that she said this happened on a number of occasions. If these things were happening on the bus for awhile why did she not report it before this happened. She is on the bus, getting paid to keep track of what happens so why was nothing said before?
Karen, I taught grades7-9 for 34 yrs. and also got harassed verbally. If you need someone to give some money to, I would really appreciate it. I have a 1999 car I need to get painted. I only get $1,500. a month for retirement. Could you please spare a little money for me to maybe buy a car? Betty in WV.
