Did you attend a midnight showing of The Avengers? If show, chime in below with your own take!

I went to see the film on opening day, and all I can say is this: Best. Movie. EVER. I'm a lifelong fan of the comics, and I feel that this had the perfect balance of elements from The Ultimates and mainstream Avengers comics.
I recall being skeptical when the casting change for Banner was announced, but Ruffalo did a beautiful job of portraying my favorite character in the Marvel universe.
And Joss? Well, he's Joss! I grew up on Buffy, Firefly, etc., and I'm so glad that he treated this project as he has all of his other work. Brilliant, brilliant job. Truly.
I've now been to see it four times, and I plan on seeing it for a fifth soon. This has replaced Blade Runner as my favorite film of all time. It leaves me wanting and expecting more amazing stuff out of Marvel.

Great movie!

I agree wholeheartedly with everything mentioned in the article. It was an amazing film and it definitely didn't disappoint. I saw it in 3D and, for the most part, the effect is underwhelming. There're only a few scenes that really take advantage of it. That aside, the movie itself is breathtaking, suspenseful, funny, and everything in between.
