The radio host, political activist and nephew of JFK filed for divorce from his wife mere days before Mary Kennedy was charged with DUI in 2010.

According to Radar Online, a source revealed that the cause of death was suicide, though police have yet to even confirm or deny this report.

In any case, may she rest in peace.

making excuses for him not being there. But what I came to realize was that my faith in God was weak and my husband and children were the most important things in my life. Now that my faith has become stronger, I know I need to be here for my children as long as possible, to help guide them in being honest in all walks of their life. Everything else will fall in place. Rest in Peace Mary.

How can anyone say that RKF jr has bumped his wife off !!!!!!!!!!!! Disgusting!

Agree with frank and misslady. RFK is,like his father, incredibly generous and hard working-trying to make the world a better place for all. To suggest anything sinister is asinine. So sorry for all involved especially the children and Bobby who really did love her and who now is all his kids have.

i seem to agree with spider that women that involve themselves with the kennedy's seem to encounter deadly accidents... and my advice to cherly hines.... sweetheart, please reap what you saw, the man you love has 4 young kids, and a dead wife, you were probably having an affair with him when he was married. welcome to the family cherly, i hope your happy.

How sad...I send loving energy to all. To be in a place where you think the only solution is to end your life is painful for the person feeling that and the others involved. So sorry.

Did Robert Kennedy hire someone to off his wife and make it look like a suicide? I wouldn't put that beneath him.

My thoughts go out to Mary's family, especially her 4 young children. Assuming that there is no foul play involved, she was obviously in a very dark and desparate place to decide to end her life and render her children motherless. Those poor children will have to grow up without a mom and to deal with all of the negative commentary and criticism about her. Don't add any more negativity to the mix. RIP Mary.

Sophia, that is totally ignorant. If this was a suicide, Mary Kennedy died from a disease and not because of selfishness. People need to wake up to the reality of depression and other mental illnesses. My sincere condolences to all the family and to Mary posthumously for whatever affliction she suffered.

Don't blame her, as a mother I know this is not what she wanted.
I had a dear sister took her life recently and left a son behind, she had been a mental patien for 30yrs, althrough recover but she still end her life for no reason, to us.So can both of them under any medication influence to end their life...RIP...can anyone enlighten me...

I agree with "scares". Something fishy. They should check out those Kennedy's. Something may be suspicious about this case. Look out. Don't cross a Kennedy.
