John Legend Bashes Britney Spears and Demi Lovato as Non-Singers

On the ABC Upfront party red carpet this week, John Legend - one of the four singers who will be teaming up with amateurs across the country on the new singing competition - was asked about the new X Factor judges, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato, and replied:
"You know it's interesting. It should be very interesting. I don't have much to say," Legend told E! News. "It's interesting when people, you know, are judging singing competitions when they aren't really singers."
Ouch! Interesting is one diplomatic word for it, yes.
Robin Thicke, who will also appear on Duets, gave the young ladies some credit at least: "Oh come on, everything Britney does, she excels at. Demi is a lovely young lady, and I'm sure they'll do nothing but make the show a lot more fun to watch."

What is he talking about, yeah i loved the Beatles but Demi Lovato is extremly talented. He is no postion to criticize anyone.
john legend is a hater, and he is just talking to get hype for the duets show, which i don't really get the format for, but i do agree britney is not a signer, she is just an entertainer, but he is wrong when it comes to disney because that girl can sing her ass off, so he needs to shut up
Sorry, I never heard of John legend until now. They may not have the best voice but they are big star, at least a lot well known than John legend in my book. There are a lot of people with great voice but they do not last long because the do not have that x factor to retain their star power and keep people interest in them. These girls are young and they know how to keep thing fresh and interesting. They have their up and down and in the end both are successful in making big comebacks while most other would fail. That is because the have the x factor to keep them the it girls. Hey, just hire them, fox got so much Pr than any other show already. I think john just want to get in that spot light by throwing out that comment and it work.
John better be talking about Britney because Demi can sing so john stop bitching ... lovatic forever!!!!
