ur old enough 2 know if u cnt say nothing nice then dnt say nothing at all instead ur putting dn 2 beauitful strong women that hv overcome so much just 2 mk u feel bt abt ur selve what a great man u r put the shoe on the other foot

What is he talking about, yeah i loved the Beatles but Demi Lovato is extremly talented. He is no postion to criticize anyone.

john legend is a hater, and he is just talking to get hype for the duets show, which i don't really get the format for, but i do agree britney is not a signer, she is just an entertainer, but he is wrong when it comes to disney because that girl can sing her ass off, so he needs to shut up

Sorry, I never heard of John legend until now. They may not have the best voice but they are big star, at least a lot well known than John legend in my book. There are a lot of people with great voice but they do not last long because the do not have that x factor to retain their star power and keep people interest in them. These girls are young and they know how to keep thing fresh and interesting. They have their up and down and in the end both are successful in making big comebacks while most other would fail. That is because the have the x factor to keep them the it girls. Hey, just hire them, fox got so much Pr than any other show already. I think john just want to get in that spot light by throwing out that comment and it work.

John better be talking about Britney because Demi can sing so john stop bitching ... lovatic forever!!!!

john legend might be right about britney's voice, but he misses the point that it doesn't really matter. britney is someone who knows showbusiness inside out. by john's standard, simon cowell shouldn't judge, because he can't sing!

He's right about Britney but he's wrong about Demi. Demi Lovato can actually sing. What people need to realize is that you don't have to be a great singer in order to know if someone else can sing. There are plenty of us 'regular' people who can't sing at all but who still point out which singers we think are talented and which ones we don't.

My only problem with Britney being on this show is that I'm afraid she'll candy-coat things and be afraid to give honest criticism. When Christina Aguilera (on The Voice) gave criticism that was direct and honest to a contestant that people liked, everyone basically called her a bitch and accused her of being bitter. That's how immature people are. I'm afraid that Demi might be too nice too.

I agree that britney is not that great of a singer but she is one hell of a performer and has made hit after hit. thats what the x factor is to me.

Even if he is right, he doesn't have the right to bash them, whether in public or in private.

He wasn't talking about Demi, he was talking about Britney, but did want to say her name. He's right though everyone knows her voice is mostly a machine and production, we know this about Britney and those that continue to buy her music know this too, it wasn't like he wasn't telling the truth
