Former SVU star Christopher Meloni has joined the cast of this HBO hit for its upcoming fifth season, coming on board as a character named Roman who is part of the much-talked-about-but-never-actually-seen vampire Authority.
On season five, this ruling sect will be very much talked about and seen, as Stephen Moyer's Bill and Alexander Skarsgard's Eric team up to try and take it down.

I loved Chris on SVU...i don't care for Trueblood...but i MIGHT HAVE TO watch an episode just because he's in it this season. It IS GOOD to see Chris doing some new work..."but Chris...Vampires..? Huh? I never knew you were into Vampires..."
He is going to rock this seaon as a vampire!! I loved him on Oz, and SVU and I welcome him with open arems to TRue blood. He is the number one reason I am excited about True blood this seaon , Roman you can glamoue me anytime . You go Chris!!!
My mom and I ordered HBO for the fourth season and IT IS WELL WORTH IT!!!! cannot wait until the 5th season starts to see where the story goes, I stopped reading the books after the 4th one so I wouldn't get ahead of myself :)
donnab...I also miss Christopher on Law & Order SVU. To me, the show hasn't been the same without him ever since he left. As a fan of Christopher's, I gotta say...Christopher is RUGGEDLY SEXY AS HELL!!!!! LOL!!!!!
