In the bottom of the first inning of last night's nationally-televised game, the Washington Nationals rookie sensation was hit by a pitch from Cole Hamels; made his way to third base on a single by Jayson Werth; and then sprinted for home when Hamels threw over for a pickoff attempt at first.

Harper successfully completed the most exciting play in baseball, marking the first stolen base of his eight-game career. It was rather awesome. Watch now:
