Bristol Palin Reality Show Hyped With Unintentionally Hilarious Bio

by at . Comments

"Bristol Palin is the daughter of Sarah Palin. She got pregnant by accident just as her mom was added to the 2008 Republican ticket, at which point she pretended to be engaged to Levi Johnston, then attempted to cash in on her 15 minutes."

Lifetime's press release for Bristol Palin's new reality show COULD say that, and it wouldn't be incorrect, but alas, their bio is a bit different.

Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp (get it?!) premieres on June 19 with two (!) episodes. Here's Lifetime's explanation of why you should watch it:

A Bristol Palin Pic

"Viewers will get the chance to experience the life of one of America’s most famous young mothers, Bristol Palin, in the new docuseries ... showcasing Bristol’s journey growing into womanhood with her young son, Tripp."

"With never-before-granted access to Bristol’s real-life experiences, the show follows her everyday life as a single mother living under intense media scrutiny that comes from her lineage as the daughter of former Alaska Governor and V.P. candidate Sarah Palin."

"The series follows Bristol’s move from Wasilla to Los Angeles with Tripp and her sister Willow, and back to Alaska as she deals with parenting and disciplining her toddler without Tripp’s father."

"Giving viewers a unique look at the difficult decisions she makes for relationships, career and family, Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp will capture how true-to-life challenges test her resolve as she single-handedly writes the next chapter in her and Tripp’s life."

"The former first daughter of Alaska, Bristol has become one of the country’s most high-profile teen mothers after the 2008 birth of Tripp."

"She has since dedicated her life to being a leading advocate for the prevention of teen pregnancy, working with such organizations as the Candie’s Foundation to educate people about the issue."

"In 2010, Bristol appeared on ABC’s hit reality competition series Dancing with the Stars, on which she placed in third. Most recently, she published her New York Times best-selling book, Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far, which candidly chronicles her public and personal life."

"Bristol also launched her own blog, where readers can get her views and opinions on various topics such as politics, pop culture and parenting."

Eh, our bio is still better. There's something to be said for brevity.

Will you watch Bristol Palin's new show?

bellagrazi May 23rd, 2012 7:15 PM is also known as Kristy, Julie and even Steve Peters on any and seemingly EVERY blog that happens to discuss the boring inarticulate Bristol Palin. I can't decide if bellagrazi is a lovestruck Palin fan or an internet stalker. Perhaps the latter, because she's been unfriended at Sarah Palin's Facebook page.

I am so disgusted with Lifetime for airing this hypocrit's made up story, I will boycott the station altogether. She is publicly advocating FOR unwed teen pregnancy - it's all "look at me and how wonderful life is with my fatherless child." There are many many other stories about unwed teen moms out there - ones that are true. Won't watch such tripe.

Watch the trailer and then decide if you will watch Bristol's Unreality Show. Yeah, me neither. It's a collection of old video clips recycled around Bristol's so very tough life of pursuing "celebrity status" with no talent or personality.

Sarah Palin is the funniest political satire act ever, and she is sure to butt in on her daughter's show, desperately groping for the spotlight. Yes indeed, 'Bellagrazi', they are the epitome of what makes America what it is.....

The whole reality show fad has always confused me. It took me a long time to get over the Kardashians having shows. I always end up with the same questions, "Who are these people? Why should I care what they are doing? What did they do to warrant my attention?" I just can't believe people even watch these things. ...Today Kim decides what kind of miniature dog to buy! Real must see TV there...

Lifetime has a facebook page. Tell them what you think!

It debuts on June 19th. Scheduled to be cancelled on June 20th. Lifetime and any sponsors of this disrespectful twit's show (IF there are any yet) will certainly hear from thousands including me. She's clueless, full of drivel, a fake christian who dares preach to others, homophobic and has some nerve attacking President Obama's little girls after he spoke up for her during the campaign saying politicians kids are off limits. Plays the bully card, then the victim card just like mama. When oh when will the Palins stop molesting America!

No thanks. What is she doing that merits watching on TV? Ugh.

Reality shows of this type, like Sarah Palin's Alaska, are boring in the first place. Add a dull and wooden Bristol to the mix and you have a cure for insomnia.

"Dedicated her life to being a leading advocate for the prevention of teen pregnancies " ? Seriously ? Other than an advertisement that aired for a brief month or so, more than a year and a half ago, what has she done to be an advocate? A sentence or two on her Facebook page? A twitter? For the love of Pete, this is the same girl that said on "Good Morning America" that abstinence is unrealistic and then turned right around to say that she is a reborn virgin. And THEN went on "Dancing with the Stars" saying that she would not wear anything provocative because it would be against her upbringing and beliefs and THEN went on to do a humping and grinding series of dance segments in very provocative dress. Last words :
"argh" and " oy"

Bristol Palin Quotes

Teenagers need to prevent pregnancy to begin with -- this isn't ideal. But I'm fortunate to have a supportive family, which is dealing with this together.

Bristol Palin

Tripp is so perfectly precious; we love him with all our hearts. I can't imagine life without him now.
