There are some unusual facts related to this case. First, Eugene's girlfriend reported that he woke her up at 5:30am telling her he had to meet a "homeboy" and leaves the house uncharacteristically "early". Now who gets up at 5:30am with the intension of taking "bath salts"? Second, he calls her stating that his car broke down and that he would return home in an hour. Again, if your car breaks down the last thing you want to do is to take some kind of crazy drug, right? Most people would want to take some action to repair or secure the car, especially in a big city like Miami. Third, the fact that he was to meet up with a mystery "homeboy". What was so important to Eugene that he would have to get up at 5:30am in order meet him? These facts suggest the possiblility of a set up of some kind.

I used Bath Salt 2 weeks in a row and didnt sleep at all (what ppl around me at the time said). Some my guess would be If this incident was drug related it consisted of a large amount of whatever drug it may have been. With that being said I believe as well a mental issue or two. People just dont do this if they are normal!

well...I have used bath salts...it speeds you up..kind of like a cross between coke and meth...and it never made me do or feel any of the things being "reported". I never hallicunated, became violent, aggressive...anything like that at all.. certianly didn't stip naked and start growling like a wack-o. if he was on drugs, it sounds much more like PCP or something like that. All that being said, I no longer use bath salts nor do I condone drug use by myself or anyone else and personally never use anything stronger than a cup of coffee and a cigarette these days. While I disagree with virtually every claim I have read and heard about them,especially regarding this bizarre incident, I do think they are a menace and should rightfully be outlawed.
