As a nurse, HIPAA states that your rights are overruled concerning med records if you are dealing with a legal issue....translation: She cannot sue her doc u retard!
Who cares.she gets what she deserves. If she would act like a human being and a mother with some sense and stay out of trouble she wouldn't of had the problem in the first place.
Kathy I'm more than positive they had some type of medical release! Also if her case worker calls the Dr has the right to give them the information requested. Plus the case worker didn't ask for any medical records just the fact if she was lying about her bed rest. No boundaries crossed there!!

Well I hope she sues the crap out of the dr if the caseworker did not have a court order to obtain her medical record!!
