Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Criticized For Not Losing Baby Weight Fast Enough

by at . Comments

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a regular on many "most beautiful woman in the world" lists, is being slammed by some fans in her native India.

The reason: Not dropping the weight that she gained during her first pregnancy quickly enough. Seriously. People are not happy. And are voicing it out loud.

In one video posted on YouTube dubbed "Aishwarya Rai’s Shocking Weight Gain" (below), someone who needs a life chronicles her transformation in detail.

“Aishwarya Rai Bachchan post-pregnancy seems to be looking rather plump,” states the description. “The Bachchan bahu seems to be taking motherhood very seriously and shockingly seems to have put on at least 5-6 kilos.”

Sound bites of an elephant are featured in the background. Classy.

“She needs to learn from people like Victoria Beckham who are back to size zero weeks after their delivery,” a comment on the videos reads.

"She's a Bollywood actress and being a part of showbiz it is her duty to look good and fit. Till now she has been praised for her beauty, so it is only fair that she should also be criticized if she is not able to live up to it,” another states.

Rai gave birth to her first child in November. Apparently half a year is way past the cutoff. This is what you're up against, Jessica Simpson.

Gosh, let her be! She's an incredible lady, i mean which of our stars on TV will give so much attention to their baby knowing how much show-biz will fetch them?... She even said she'd return to d screens after a year of nurturing Anuradha!
Isn't dis mystic??... Give it up to dis woman of substance!!!

YES! YES! YES! Some international entertainment news FINALLY. Not some hollywood B.S.

hi let her enjoy her mother hood guys.she knows what to do to lose her weight let give some amount of time.see knows

It is so sad that women can be so hateful to other women for something like gaining weight after Every woman's body is different and loses weight differently so to judge is just hateful and I doubt there is a man anywhere who would agree with those hateful comments. This woman is beautiful no matter her weight...

Obviously anyone who gives this any credit has not had a baby! It is tough to lose baby weight- especially since she is not 19 yrs old. Give her a break- for the self esteem of all women!

No matter what you weight, the media is gonna comment.. if you have curves you are labled *fat* if you loose the weight you are labled *too thin*, what is the happy medium here????, there is none....Magazines, print ad's, catalougues for department stores, give us pictures of woman that are thin, and what message is that sending to the young girls who look at these woman? It's telling them that in order to be beautiful or have worth they need to be thin, and thats simply NOT TRUE!!!...They are going on these crazy diets in order to *get thin* and its not healthy... Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes!!... If the media printed more curvy woman on thier covers, celebrated curves instead of bashing them you would have alot more healthier attitudes about body then you do now!

I am an Aishwarya Rai hater... and even I think it's OKAY to gain this weight. She is a mother... and if she is breastfeeding then it is not easy for her. She could also have post birth complications that is keeping her from doing exercises. Everybody has a different body... comparing is not going to help. Like I said, I am NOT a fan of Aishwarya... I've always thought she is an over rated actress. But this kind of attitude because the woman didn't lose her weight since the birth of her child... is the rudest... meanest thing to say. To be a good mother.. all she needs to do is focus on her baby and not her weight... may be she is not feeding the baby formula like all other HOLLYWOOD actresses do... jeez!!!! everyone is too mean!

even if shes a little bit chubby, shes still hotter than all those haters. leave her alone.

Wv peach

Bravo to you Blaize! You hit the nail on its head

So what if she want to keep the extra pounds!? So be it!
