Justin Bieber Lends Song to Bully Trailer, Speaks Out on Important Cause

by at .

Justin Bieber does what he can to help a good cause.

The 18-year-old is featuring his single "Born to Be Somebody" as the background music for Bully's new trailer, saying the issue hits close to home with him.

Yes, the Bieb himself was a victim to bullying once.

"I was bullied," Justin told Showbiz Tonight. "Most people in their lifetime have been at some point. I think it's about time that people start making a change."

"A lot of the time, principals let it go, teachers let it go, other students just let it go ... I think [Bully] is really powerful and can help change a lot of lives."

"If you're a bystander, too, tell somebody, because a lot of times, it's just not spoken of, and you ended up keeping it all inside, and it just hurts even more."

Words to live by, kids, from a true role model.

NOT ALL KIDS WHO ARE BULLIED, ARE INNOCENT. SOME ARE SPOILED, LITTLE, OBNOXIOUS, BRATS, WHOSE PARENTS LET THEM GET AWAY WITH EVERYTHING AT HOME, SO THEY TAKE THEIR "ATTITUDE" WITH THEM TO SCHOOL. THEIR PEERS WON'T TAKE THAT CRAP.

Kudos to Justin and the people who have and still influence him!! At such a young age, JB is constantly in the News for what is right with young stardom instead of what is wrong with young fame. There is hardly a day that this young man is Not a News story. In addition to being a heartthrob to the teen crowd, he continues to exhibit an honorable and humble persona. I have read about him sharing his fame with other performers as a means of giving back to charitable causes. Even when he was "accused" of a paternity charge,he continued to handle himself in a dignified manner. Lending his voice and his music to a movie with such an important message only add to the popularity of "The Bieb"!!
