This season 11 hopeful went all Cyndi Lauper on viewers last night, covering the classic "Time After Time" and mostly receiving praise from the judges. Jennifer Lopez said she "really liked it," while Dixon oddly enough admitted after the performance that he took his cues from a remake of the single by Quiet Drive, only changing up a couple notes here and there.

Colton Dixon stood up for what he believe in...he never took the judges advice to stop gospel singing......his not ashamed of his religion or their songs!!!! I think he sounds pretty awesome and is a potential Idol winner for sure.
That performance was AMAZING. All of his performances are super good, and fun to watch. He is gonna win, I tell you!! Team Dixon forever
