American Idol Results: Another Surprise?

Following the most surprising American Idol vote of the season, the top seven gathered once again this week to learn which of them would be going home.

After two performances from each of the contestants on Wednesday - along with a song tonight by Kris Allen and a tribute to Dick Clark - it came down to a bottom three of Hollie Cavanagh, Elise Testone and, for the first time so far, Colton Dixon.

And the unlucky eliminate-ee?

COLTON DIXON!

"I need to apologize. I wasn't myself last night and I get it," Dixon said with class and grace upon hearing the news.

    she is a very sweet girl. We're all hoping she wins!Betty- I hope she wins too! She rellay does have a great voice.gracies- I haven't heard Jessica but then, I only watch Elise and then turn it off. LOL You're right- some of them are quite talented!Jane- I don't watch Idol or the Voice but had to this time, for obvious reasons. LOL Michele- They're not my thing either. But, since DoodleBug knows this girl, we watch until she sings and then turn the channel. LOL

    Elise is definitely the BEST. She has such a unique style and voice. The judges want someone really young to win. Elise is 29 years old and that doesn't make the producers enough money. Is this show rigged or what?????????

    I just gotta say one more thing. The reason i think that american idol is also an insult to the major artist who really had to work extremely hard to get in the music industry and local artist who are still trying to get there is because, it's not based on your talent, it's based on your personality and how much drama you can bring to the show to crank up the ratings, American Idol is a Singing reality show. So I can only imagine how much respect the american idol winners get from their fellow brothers and sisters under the same record label as them. I bet you someone like Lil Wayne or Ne-Yo would look at a Scotty McCreery and say "How'd you get in?" Scotty McCreery: "I'm the American Idol Champion" Ne-Yo and Lil Wayne: Oh Foreal? Hahahahahahahaha................. Oh ok, uh......... (DEAD AIR.......)welcome to Universal Music Group man....

    That show is so damn fixed. I can't even watch that shit and i would advise anyone who wants to be a contestant on it, to not go. Think about it, if you did go on there and you just so happened to get really far in the show, but you don't win, what happens after that? You've told your whole life story and possibly embarrassed yourself all for nothing..... You get nothing out of it..... You go back to your once private life, and now everyone knows about it and you're still broke as hell... What was the point. Ok. Let's look at the other side of it, if you go far and win, You get a 1 Million Dollar recording contract from J Records, get a couple spins on the Radio, Release 1 Album, and nobody hears from you again. American Idol is a bunch of bullshit. I wouldn't even waste my time watching it. FUCK AMERICAN IDOL!!!!!!!!

    Dear 'PeeDee' first, I congratulate you for the 'original' name. Very nice. Second, Jessica Sanchez does NOT copy other singers. She is origial and makes every song her own. She is very talented and better than Colton Dixon. And third, Skylar does not shout when she sings. Instead, she sounds like she is trying to swallow a hole live cow. Her accent just makes it worse.
