    @The Middle Majority, thank you for catching my error. I believe it may have been a different outcome if all of them were on the ballot. The Republican party is so divided. I agree with previous blogger's, they need to put their money behind one candidate.

    Republican Outrage - I believe that was a typo for you as only 10,000 signatures were required. Why do Santorum, Gingrich and their fans cry and whine when they had the same opportunity as Paul or Romney at getting the signatures. The fact is that they do not have enough national support or finance to carry the nomination much less compete against the well organized and financed campaign of Barack Obama. Don't we want a President that is smart enough to be organized enough and financed enough to get the job done? Why would we even consider nominating someone who just limps along not planning far enough ahead to the end. A president has to be a lot more forward thinking then Santorum or Gingrich have shown. Romney is best prepared for this job. The only "other than Romney" candidate with this regard would be Ron Paul. Santorum and Gingrich should drop out and let Paul and Romney finish it out.
