Rick Santorum Declares War on Porn

by at .

Rick Santorum sees sex in purely utilitarian terms.

If it's not done with fertilizing an egg in mind, dude's got no love for it. Any such act (or product, or film, or contraceptive) is JUST PLAIN WRONG, PEOPLE!!

The Republican presidential candidate and staunch social conservative wants to ban hard core adult films, calling them toxic to marriage and relationships.

The former Pennsylvania senator writes on his website:

A Rick Santorum Image

"America is suffering from a pandemic of pornography. It contributes to misogyny and violence against women. It is a contributing factor to prostitution and sex trafficking."

He demands a crackdown on the distribution of Internet porn, in addition to material on cable/satellite TV, hotel/motel TV, retail shops and through the mail.

What qualifies as "hardcore" remains unclear.

Santorum says a "wealth of research" showing how pornography causes "profound brain changes in children and adults," and says President Obama doesn't do enough:

"The Obama administration turns a blind eye to those who wish to preserve our culture from the scourge of pornography and has refused to enforce obscenity laws."

"While the Obama Department of Justice seems to favor pornographers over children and families, that will change under a Santorum administration."

The White House hopeful, whose last name was hilariously Google bombed in response to his rampant homophobia, has been sounding this alarm for years.

Why a so-called defender of freedom on so many other issues is so against personal freedoms in a relationship sense, who the heck knows. But he means it!

Tuesday, Santorum won primaries in Alabama and Mississippi. Rick and rival Mitt Romney are both stumping in Puerto Rico ahead of their contest Sunday.

Rick is funny. I listen to him an actually laugh out loud at some of the ignorance that he spews. The only difference between what he does and a porn star does is that they are getting paid to do that on screen. I would hate to think that he is just putting the dick in, give a few pumps and gets off! But I believe that he & his wife were virgins, so they wouldn't know good sex UNLESS they seen it. I just figured it people!! That's probably why he wants to get rid of porn so his wife won't ask what they are doing? Why is she screaming and is it really suppose to last longer than 3minutes?! Poor Mrs.Santo

Wtf is with all these moronic republicans forcing their views on everyone?? Are they seriously incapable of viewing the world through anything but their "I love jesus" goggles?? I don't care what this idiot Santorum thinks about sex, his opinion is as meaningless as anyone's else's in regards to what 2 consenting adults decide to do together. Keep your moronic religious views away from me, I don't care about your god, your jesus, or what your bible says. Please realise that not everyone conforms to your views and shouldn't, and rightfully so.

@ Renee Careful--you're getting team tagged by Beotch and Chely. Might be site buddies OR--the same person. Crazy as it sounds! @Beotch You're making "assumptions" about Renee's age as well as the reason ppl here got on Chely. How do YOU know if because she mentioned Obama that is the reason for their comments. You simply don't. So there! Yeah, maybe not quite as red as you'd have us believe. @Chely Your comments are somewhat muddled and can be perceived as immature and that might not have a thing to do with physical age either. You don't have any room to talk!
