Miley Cyrus Quotes Einstein, Responds to Twitter Backlash

by at .

Miley Cyrus has responded to those who believe she totally dissed her religion on Twitter this week. A quick refresher:

The actress quoted theoretical physicist Lawrence Krauss on Sunday night, citing a long passage from the doctor about the scientific creation of the universe that included the line "Forget Jesus. Stars Died So You Could Live."

Many followers took major exception to the supposedly anti-Christian message.

Fancy Miley Cyrus

Now, Miley has shot back with a nuanced, mature, thoughtful response.

"How can people take the love out of science and bring hate into religion so easily?" she wrote. "It makes me sad to think the world is this way. Like Einstein says 'Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind.'"

Wow. Well said. Your move, critics.

Ok, I never thought in my lifetime I would ever agree with anything Myley Cyrus has to say, but I have to say she's spot on! I have new respect for her for not taking it down like some of these celebrity pussies that say what they believe then apologize so they don't upset anyone! If there's one thing I absolutely cannot stand, its assholes that use christianity to justify their bigoted, hateful views!

You're being too harsh with Miley. She's like Obama...she's just 'evolving'. Give her time and she'll morph into something completely different. With any luck you simply won't recognize her in time. Something to look forward to I think.
