Michael Madsen Arrested on Child Endangerment Charge After Fight With Son
by Free Britney at .Actor Michael Madsen was arrested Friday on suspicion of felony child endangerment.
Madsen was taken into custody in Malibu, Ca., then released early this morning and was in decent spirits on his way out, calling the whole incident a "big misunderstanding."
So what the heck happened exactly?
According to law enforcement, Madsen got into a a physical fight with his juvenile son, and when cops arrived, they observed several signs of injury on his son.
Madsen also appeared to be under the influence of alcohol at the time.
The son did not require medical attention, but Madsen was booked on a charge of child endangerment with cruelty to a child - a felony charge. Then what?
Madsen's attorney, Perry Wander, tells TMZ that "[Michael Madsen] found his son smoking pot and they got in an argument when he tried to take it away."
"It's a family matter and Michael asks that his privacy be respected."
Next time, try shooting a laptop Mike ... that seems to work better.

Listen the cops arrested the wrong person. My husband was arrested after taking my son-drug addicts phone away from him so that he couldn't get his dealer. My husband pushed my son and the police came gave himm his phone and arrested my husband. My son od not long after. Sometime things are not how they seem. Madsen was trying to teach him a lesson
It's a family member and he wants his privacy respected? Nice.. I bet his son appreciates that after dad tells the world he smokes weed!
