Hunger Games Midnight Showings: Record-Breaking!

The blockbuster big screen version of Suzanne Collins' best-selling novel is already off to a memorable start, earning a staggering $19.7 million at midnight showings across the country this morning and setting a midnight record for the highest-grossing non-sequel ever.
It's hard to believe that the film won't break $100 million on its opening weekend.

Trailer looks pretty much in line with the first half of the first book. I loved the book seires, so I'm hoping these movie adaptations go well. Second book was the best, so hopefully the franchise does well enough with the first one to be able to make the sequels.
