Dear Emily (Cissy) you miss your baby girl and I wish I could take your pain away. Whitney was your pride and joy. when I want to look at the both of you together performing I play the song from Chess. Be at peace and never forget the love.

Mother and daughter are dealing with a huge loss. I know what addiction can do to a family. I will continue to pray for the entire family. Ms. Cissy may you find comfort in knowing you did all you could for your daughter. The paths we take as adults are our own choices and Whitney with whatever issues she suffered with was a great woman.

I would say Bobbi deserves a lot of sympathy. Cissy suffered a lot as a mother, but Bobbi suffered probably more as a daughter, growing up in a dysfunctional home with two drug addicted parents. And even after losing a mother, the poor girl barely has a father to fall back on because he honestly does not seem to care much for her.

This Mother is where all the sympathy should go. She had been watching this nightmare addiction from the beginning. She saw and she tried to intercept the self destruction that was displayed and the shit that migrated to her daughter. I've seen it - up close! This is the woman that has suffered!
