You'd swear the audience are all extremely low IQ'ed. Surely one decides OH one day I'll make that cake or whatever. Bourdain, I think is an extremely intelligent guy - when I read his stuff or look at him, you just know, he really should never have been a chef. He should have been an academic in the science world. He just gives me that impression. He has savvy and obviously he has tried a lot of the world's vices. I don't care. But then again, I like the gentle Paula Deen and I am so very sorry that she has Diabetes. She didn't SELL the stuff she just showed some fantastically delicious recipes now and then. How dumb must you be to go and cook it up all the same just to consume and consume some more. Surely not? I think celebrities and the press think extremely little of their own audiences - their lust for worship interferes with their thinking processes. Must be. She would have gotten diabetes even if she didn't have a TV show, so why the judgement?
Nobody ever said you have to eat Paula's food every meal. I think he is just jealous and besides that he is a drunk ...and a mean asshole. I will take Paula any day of the week.......
Anthony Bordain is a hypocrite he makes nasty comments about Paula Dean and other chefs. So what that he doesn't smoke anymore because of second hand smoke I have Asthma I've never smoked in my life although my family did. One very real point I would like to make at least Paula Dean doesn't do wine commercials in a skimpy bikini. Who wants to see some old naked man cooking their food definitely not me? He thinks he's all that when honestly he's just an old man that grosses you out.
Lois doesn't sound like you know very much about European women they may do a lot of what you say but their hygiene leaves a lot to be desired.
Anthony is picking on Paula for publicity. Every comment he makes about her gets his name out there. If your so secure in your career you don't have to trash others. He drinks, he smoked for years, did drugs & now he doesn't & he can speak out about how smoking & drugs are bad. She can't speak out now? Not to many cooking shows are healthy, Diners Drive Ins & Dives is a fat fest, should we blame that show when we eat at a diner?
