Thank you "537" for the clarification. My comments were not directed toward Whitney's race, social or education status, but rather at the ignorant sounding posts I am reading. I have high regard for Ms. Huston's skills as a singer & actress, but she did make some bad choices in her life which I do believe led to her early demise, as do a lot of the Hollywood star-types, and as well as us regular folks too, and I have made my fair share of mistakes. None of us are exempt from making bad choices, but we shouldn't let those bad choices take us down. That's all I'm saying.
Smh someones child, mother, friend etc. Has passed and you'll are on here argueing! SHOW SOME RESPECT! R.I.P MS. HOUSTON!
YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MISSED.BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN.
WE ALL LOVE YOU
he was not saying whitney was uneducated he was referring to some of the comments read.Goodness .... wheres the love yall
When Whitney was running with Bobby Brown she was a mess, but I know from my own family drug abuse its very hard for drug abusers to clean up.Just because they are not copping illegal drugs from the street doesn't mean their clean, you still have a problem with doctor be good like Michael Jacksons doctor who will give you what you want. These are the true criminals not you Whitney love you always what a shame.
@old school white guy, i laughed at your comment. the whole problem with how people type and the slang/gibberish is another whole topic. today's kids cannot read, write, add/subtract - all they want to do is rap and do drugs. the school system has no control on these kids so the kids rule the school rather than the other way around. whitney houston was a very articulate and intelligent person. her problem wasn't her lack of education. it was the need to do what was necessary to be accepted by "her people". white people adored her. it wasn't until she had "an edge" with bobby brown that black people accepted her as one of their own.
@mrsd I think its funny that unless you have mainstream views your thought of as raciest I guess everyone is missing the part where your biracial. Its not anattack on Whittney its a problem with society
I have read all 5 pages of your posted comments and I have a few things I want to say to you all. Whatever the cause of Whitney's death was, I don't believe it was due to her race or profession. Whatever the cause of her death was, it was most likely that she died because of the choices she made, i.e. she died the way she lived, not who she was or the color of her skin or the black communities failure to fully support her. Yes, Whitney's death is a tragedy, as is every young person's death, that's for sure. And I do hope she was right with her God when she passed from this life to the next. But what I gleaned (picked up) most out of all the comments I read was how ignorant some of you sounded from the way you wrote your posts. I could barely discern what some of you were trying to say from the text-sytle gibberish being used & that's a very sad testimony of our what's become of our society & the education system at large.
@MsD you are a hopeless idiot. no sense trying to instill intelligence into you. forget it. go back to your dysfunctional life, filled with drugs, cell phone usage and rap music.
