It's time parents show their kids tough love. Kids who think they deserve the freedoms and rights of adults, need to be shown just what it is they think they want. If you have a kid that disrepsects you, obviously, they are too distracted to have learned what they should have and those distractions need to be taken away.

This guy should be applauded. How is he a bad parent for expecting his daughter to show common courtesy and then for taking steps to make sure she does? This wasn't even her first offense, so it's not like he hadn't first tried more conventional means for letting her know her behavior was unacceptable. Maybe this will wake her up and help her change before she becomes a self-centered, obnoxious adult rather than just a self-centered, obnoxious teenager. He'd only be a bad parent if he hadn't been willing to take action!

In my business I go into homes and kids of today are lazy, expect mom and dads to do everything for them and they talk to their parents as if they are the parents.
