Bruce Willis and Demi Moore are unlike most former spouses. They vacation together, they hang out with their ex's new significant others. They're especially close.

So it comes as no real surprise that a source tells People the actor was privy to the actress' troubles many months ago, before she even split from Ashton Kutcher, and tried to convince Demi to do something about them.

"He was worried about her and wanted her to get better," the insider tells the magazine. "Many of her friends did the same thing, but she just wouldn't listen."

  • Demi Moore in Soho

Willis and Moore have three daughters today, two of which (Rumer and Tallulah) are reportedly crashing with their father while their mother figures out her next step.

Meanwhile, multiple outlets report that both Willis and Kutcher made appearance at Moore's Los Angeles home Wednesday yesterday in order to check up on their ex-wife. Let's all hope this kind of support system helps Moore realize just how much she's truly loved.

Campaigning in Nevada in advance of tomorrow's Republican presidential caucus, Ron Paul talked to CNN's Joe Johns about his prospects in the Silver State and beyond.

Paul said the caucus format works to his advantage because it rewards organization and enthusiasm, rather than strictly money, which gives Mitt Romney a huge edge.

The Texas Congressman, whose financial situation is still better than most, lamented that his resources limited any chance against Romney in a big state like Florida.

How well he'll do in Nevada remains to be seen, but Paul says he will continue his goal of accumulating delegates and that there is "zero chance" of him dropping out.

What is this, 2009?

Spencer Pratt tried to make amends with Lauren Conrad on her 26th birthday via Twitter Wednesday, but the fashion designer and former Hills star isn't listening.

"Lauren has moved past all the drama," a source close to LC says. "She's focusing on her career and barely has time to interact with the people she actually likes."

"Why would she want to back in touch with Spencer Pratt?"

A fair point. Why would anyone really?

  • Conrad, Lauren K.
  • Crystal Meth Head

The source close to Conrad adds that "in this case, like others, she's going to continue to do what works best with Spencer and that's obviously to ignore him."

The world has apparently followed suit in the past year and a half.

Pratt, meanwhile, is broke and living at home, but says he doesn't "have a hatchet to bury" with his former co-star, who he frequently butted heads with.

"We had our differences, but the fact is that Lauren was a part of our lives, both personally and professionally," Spencer Pratt tells Us, as if anyone cares.

"After all this time, what point would there be in being angry? All I wanted to do was wish her nothing but the best in everything she does."

Sadly, that totally heartfelt sentiment fell upon a deaf Twitter account.

American Idol contestants really put Steven Tyler through the emotional ringer last night.

First, Reis Kloeckener brought the Aerosmith frontman to tears due to his story of overcoming high school bullying.

Then, Ethan Jones moved the rocker by talking about his father, who used to lead the family band until he was overcome by drugs and alcohol and is currently in a rehab facility. That's something to which Tyler can definitely relate.

But Jones has more than a gripping tale; he also has a strong voice. Watch him put it to use now during a rendition of Edwin McCain's "I'll Be."

Ethan is off to Hollywood, one of 255 total Golden Ticket recipients. He'll compete with Lauren Gray, another strong St. Louis performer, when he arrived in California.

This is a new one. John Goodman, a South Florida millionaire, legally adopted his girlfriend Heather Laruso Hutchins recently (he's 48, she's 42). Why?

Likely because he faces a devastating civil on DUI manslaughter charges, and his unusual legal move may be a means of protecting his assets legally.

John Goodman was involved in a fatal car accident in Palm Beach, Fla., in February 2010 that led to the death of 23-year-old student Scott Wilson.

He could face a long prison term, but it's his weird financial maneuver that caught media attention, following his adoption of girlfriend Heather Hutchins.

John Goodman Mug Shot

On March 6, he will be tried for DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide, after he allegedly ran a stop sign and crashed his Bentley into Wilson's vehicle.

He then fled the scene on foot as Wilson's car submerged in a nearby canal.

The millionaire did not call 911 for an hour, during which time Scott drowned. Many believe he could have been saved if emergency services arrived sooner.

It was later determined that Goodman’s BAC was twice the legal alcohol limit, and if convicted, he could face up to 30 years in prison for the crime.

Lauren Gray delivered a black-and-white audition on American Idol last night, leaving little for the judges and viewers to even debate.

She was awesome!

This Arkansas native - who works in her family's one-stop wedding business by day, and sings in her family's rock band at night - did Adele proud by covering her single "One and Only." The look on Jennifer Lopez's face in the following video really says it all about this crooner, as does J. Lo's appropriate response when Lauren says "This is the biggest thing that's ever happened in my life."

"It won't be the biggest thing ever."

Gray is off to Hollywood, and so are two other standouts from St. Louis: Johnny Keyser and Reis Kloeckener.

Reis Kloeckener is like a character on Glee come to life.

Equipped with a Justin Bieber haircut, the American Idol hopeful tried out in St. Louis last night and explained how he attended a 152-student Lutheran middle school... before entering a much larger high school and getting bullied non-stop.

He considered dropping out, until a teacher overheard Reis singing in the hall one day and asked him to join choir. From there, he made friends and found a niche for himself.

The story, combined with Kloeckener's take on "Lean on Me," was too much for Steven Tyler. The singer/judge welled up and quickly gave this aspiring artist a Golden Ticket to Hollywood. See if you have the same reaction now:

Among Kloeckener's strongest competitors in St. Louis? Johnny Keyser.

Based on the last few years' worth of voting results, Johnny Keyser has the look of an American Idol champion. He's young, white and male.

But does he have the sound?

Yes, based on this 22-year old's audition in St. Louis last night, the last stop for the Fox juggernaut before it finally showcases contestants to Hollywood.

With his family watching, and following Johnny's tale of growing up without a mother, Keyser received nothing but praise from the judges and unanimous Golden Ticket approval. Does this waterskiing waiter from Pompano, Florida really have a chance of going far? We think so. Listen for yourself:

The brewing feud between American Idol and The Voice, which returns for a second season after the Super Bowl Sunday night, shows no signs of simmering down.

Coach/judge Adam Levine is taking Idol's Randy Jackson to task for saying NBC’s upstart singing competition is more for “second chance people” than true stars.

“The winner of The Voice, I will remind you,” Jackson noted at the TCAs, “is an artist who had a deal at Capitol Records for several years, a failed contract.”

Levine's response, in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres:

“Shame on Randy Jackson for saying that,” Levine said. “He, of anybody, should know that if you’re in this business you need second, third, fourth and fifth chances."

"So we love and embrace having that being part of the show.”

Levine, who was joined by fellow The Voice coaches Christina Aguilera and Blake Shelton, does credit Jackson for being “a working musician [who's] had a lot of success,” but he contends Jackson’s comments were “irresponsible.”

Do you agree? And which show do you like better?
