We finally have an answer to the eternal question: What happens when you dub audio from The Hunger Games trailer over action from The Vampire Diaries?

For whatever inspired reason, an Internet user has come up with the following video, in which dialogue from Katniss, Peeta, Gale and company is heard... while scenes featuring Damon, Elena, Stefan and the Mystic Falls gang are featured.

They correspond eerily well for the most part, while getting us excited for both March 23 (the premiere of The Hunger Games) and March 15 (the return of The Vampire Diaries). See for yourself now:

In a tragic and shocking turn of events, a school shooting in Chardon, Ohio, has left two people dead, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office said.

Student Daniel Parmertor died on Monday. Russell King Jr., 17, was declared brain dead early Tuesday, according to the medical examiner's office today.

He was shot at Chardon High School on Monday. Three other students were wounded in the shooting, conducted by a teenager who has been arrested.

Authorities have yet to release the alleged shooter's name, but it has been widely reported and circulated in the aftermath of the double homicide.

Many students, some of whom said they were steps away from the suspect when the bullets flew, described the shooter as a withdrawn boy named T.J. Lane.

The suspect was scheduled to make an initial court appearance at 3:30 p.m. Authorities have not released the charges he may face in the Ohio shooting.

It was also unclear if the public or media would be allowed in the courtroom at all. Many juvenile hearings are closed, and Lane, if he is the suspect, is a minor.

Lawyer Bob Farinacci, speaking for Lane's family, said late Monday night that the boy, a 17-year-old high school sophomore, was "extremely remorseful."

"Very, very scared and extremely remorseful," he told CNN affiliate WKYC.

Paula Deen's fans noticed something different about her at the 2012 South Beach Wine and Food Festival in Miami on Sunday: She's looking noticeably thinner.

The Queen of Southern cooking, who was recently criticized after she revealed she's had Type 2 Diabetes for three years, says she's already shed two sizes.

"I've dropped two pant sizes and I feel great!" Deen, 65, said, crediting a health regime that includes walking 30 minutes a day and eating smaller portions.

Deen hosted a brunch that included a menu of fried chicken, waffles, jambalaya cooked by her husband and a strawberry margarita mousse prepped by Robert Irvine.

She told fans during her cooking demo that she isn't sure what she weighs.

"We don't own a scale in our house," she says. "Every six months I go for a physical and find out. Now it's time to see the doctor. She'll be happy if I've lost weight."

Both the cook and her family are pleased with results.

"Doesn't she look nice?" son Bobby said. "She has a little more pep in her step now. She'd been guilty of being a little too sedentary – like a lot of people."

Deen told fans, "It's amazing how good getting up and moving makes you feel."

Note to ABC: Can you cancel the Oscars next year and just replace the ceremony with three hours of Jimmy Kimmel Live?

This talk show followed the 84th annual Academy Awards on Sunday night and delivered, oh, about 167 million times the humor.

First, we were introduced to Movie: The Movie. Then, Oprah Winfrey sat down as the featured guest and Kimmel pitched her on numerous ideas for the struggling OWN.

There was Oprah Repos Her Favorite Things, Oprah: After Dark and - because "reading is, like, the most boring thing in the world" according to Jimmy - the best idea of all: Book Club Fight Club. Get an idea of what all these programs might be like in the following, hilarious video.

Jack Wagner, Sherri Shepherd, Maria Menounos, Gavin DeGraw and Melissa Gilbert will all be among those competing on Dancing With the Stars March 19.

A pair of sports stars - Green Bay Packers wideout Donald Driver and tennis legend Martina Navratilova - will also be lacing up their dancing shoes.

Perhaps more importantly, Maksim Chmerkovskiy says he'll be back!

DeGraw is up for some serious double duty, as he will also continue his current U.S. tour for the first few weeks of the season, if he can last that long.

Gavin's pro partner, Karina Smirnoff, will most likely join him on tour so they can keep up the practicing, but none of his concerts conflict with DWTS dates.

Wagner, Heather Locklear's ex, will compete amid a minor scandal, while Menounos and Shepherd represent the entertainment show contingent.

Lindsay Lohan has arrived in New York City to begin rehearsals for Saturday Night Live, and while she's in the Big Apple, she'll be interviewed on The Today Show.

The 25-year-old is “very excited” to be hosting SNL, and also to give a no-holds-barred interview with a journalist she respects as part of her image rehabilitation.

The source says that Lindsay’s Today Show interview will air Thursday.

"Lindsay agreed to go on Today for a no holds barred interview ... She has tremendous respect for Matt Lauer, who will be doing the interview,” a source said.

“Lindsay is nervous about hosting SNL, but that is to be expected. She is grateful for the opportunity and won't let (executive producer) Lorne Michaels down.”

“Lindsay has been a longtime fan of Saturday Night Live and is incredibly excited to work with the amazing cast and writers," her rep, Steve Honig, adds.

Last week, Lohan got a glowing report and praise from the judge handling her theft case. Judge Stephanie Sautner said she's got "her life back on track."

If all goes according to plan, she could be off probation in April.

Felony, schmelony. Brooke Mueller is unlikely to spend any time in jail due to her recent arrest for cocaine possession.

Sources tell TMZ that Mueller's attorney is hammering out a plea bargain with Colorado prosecutors that will result in a "deferred prosecution" for his client. Translation: she will be forced to perform community service and take drug education classes as the result of her December 2 arrest - but will avoid prison altogether.

Mueller was arrested in late 2011 for allegedly assaulting a woman in a nightclub. A count of felony possession of cocaine with intent to distribute was tacked on last week, but Charlie Sheen's ex-wife is simply due in court on April 2, insiders confirm.

At that point, unless negotiations between lawyers fall apart, she will enter a plea and receive a light sentence. Raise your hand if you're surprised.

Madonna renamed her song "Girls Gone Wild" to "Girl Gone Wild" (singular) after a legal threat from underage-drunk-spring-break-girl-sleaze kingpin Joe Francis.

Which she says didn't impact her decision, at all.

Still, the Girls Gone Wild mogul warned the star with a cease and desist letter not to sing her single of the same name at the halftime show. She didn't.

Then, the singer released the song off her upcoming MDNA album ... with the "s" not only removed from the title and lyrics, but the lyrics as well. Listen:

Francis tells E! that his legal team worked with Madonna's people on it, and that changing "Girls Gone Wild" to "Girl Gone Wild" was just the start.

"An immediate solution for them to thwart any injunctive relief," he said. "Clearly her label was trying to avoid legal action surrounding the song."

"This is still infringement as far as the law is concerned. We have been in touch with Madonna's representatives in an effort to resolve this issue."

According to Madonna's manager, that's total B.S.

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake's recent engagement spawned the obligatory rumors of when and where the gorgeous couple will tie the knot. To wit ...

The uber-private couple is staying mum on the details. Big surprise.

Still, some tidbits are getting out, since as who Biel's eyeing as a dress designer and when exactly the big day's going down. Approximately, at least.

According to insiders, the wedding will take place this summer at a private estate. The quiet couple will have a small, secret ceremony with no press.

Again, major shocker there.

As for the dress, Jess has her eye on Monique Lhuillier - one of the premiere designers for A-listers - as her "number one choice" for her wedding gown.

Not that there are photos to prove it, but Jessica Biel finally debuted the engagement ring at a Saturday Night Live after-party in NYC last weekend.

One source who laid eyes on it at the party says the engagement ring actually "wasn't huge" and "looked vintage and might have been custom made."

Hmm. Once worn by Justin's grandma perhaps?

The CW has tracked down its Carrie Bradshaw.

Relatively unknown actress AnnaSophia Robb (Soul Surfer, Charlie and the Chocolate Factor) has landed this highly sought after role. She'll portray a teenage version of the character Sarah Jessica Parker made famous on The Carrie Diaries, an upcoming pilot based on Candance Bushnell's prequel of a novel.

The series will follow around Carrie during her high school days in New York City and be set in the 1980s.

It had originally been pitched as a movie - with Blake Lively, Selena Gomez and Elizabeth Olsen in key roles - but The CW swept in a few weeks ago and purchased the television script rights.
